Even though my eyes were still closed my head was pounding. I felt like sheer crap. I heard soft breathing next to me. Assuming it was Derrick I put my arm around him and nuzzled my head into his side. Out of habit Derrick would shift his body so that I would nuzzle his chest not side. So when he didn't do that I assumed I was nuzzling Erick. Problem is Erik would put his arm around me out of habit. So I thought it was Adrian, but he would just move my arm. Lastly, I thought it was Nate, but he would move my head so that it was lying on his stomach. This person didn't do any of that.
I scrunched up my nose trying to think who it was. I sighed and jabbed my fist into the side of the person's stomach. He jumped and landed on the side of the bed with a thump. I pulled myself towards the edge. I slowly opened my eyes to see Leon on the floor grumbling.
"Oh...okay." I started to go back to bed to stop the pounding of my head. It took less than a second for me to realize that I was in bed...with Leon. I sat up straight, which was a really bad idea. My head started to spin and the pounding just got worse.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
Leon stood up and crossed his arms over his chest, "What's that suppose to mean?"
I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I was in his room. How did I get in his room? What the hell happened?
I rubbed my temples before talking, "What happened yesterday?"
Leon chuckled, "Hangover?"
I nodded.
"Hold on." He went to his bathroom and came back with a small bottle of Advil. He took out two capsules and handed them to me.
I gladly accepted the pills (even though the amount he gave me wouldn't really work) and swallowed them. I then looked at Leon, "Okay from the start. Or by the time I got drunk, because I'm sure as hell don't remember a thing."
He smiled and decided to sit cross legged on the bed. I scowled got up and went to an arm chair that was next to a window.
"I'm pissed right now. Don't come near me." I hissed.
"I can tell." He sighed and started, "Lessee, hmm well you got drunk and made a fool of yourself."
"Obviously." I muttered.
"Then you started to sing and all your friends joined. Then you threw up and Nate cradled you till you fell asleep. Then poof we're back in my room."
"You're hiding something." I said.
He raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
I nodded and went to him. I got on the bed and leaned into him. I grabbed his chin and stared at his eyes. For some reason I had a gut feeling he was lying. Adrian always said that the eyes were the gateway to that persons' soul. If I tried hard enough I might see what he really was thinking. But to no avail. I failed.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
I let go and sighed, "I know you're lying I can just feel it." I got off and started walking towards the door.
"Wait I still need to talk to you." He said suddenly appearing in front of the door.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, "Well spit it out then."
"Well I can't spit it out because it's really important and I need you to be willing to listen." He said controlling his anger.
I sighed, "Give me an hour. And I'll listen to whatever you wanted to say."
He sighed then moved, allowing me to get out of his room. I went to mine and got some clothes. I got a black tank top and some khaki shorts. I took a quick shower and brushed my hair. I was about to throw the sweats that I know belonged to Nate in the hamper when a small velvet box fell out. I picked up the object and went through the pockets to make sure if there was anything else. Sure enough there was.
