Mommy and Me (MD/lg)

Day Out

I wake up at about 8 am on a Saturday. Today would be a good day.

Mommy is taking me out to do a lot of fun stuff today!

Mommy isn't awake yet so I sit on her lap and kiss her awake.

"Morning Princess"

"Good Morning mommy...sleep well"

"Yes baby what about you?"

She smiles at me.

"I had you by my side so I slept perfectly"

That makes mommy smile even bigger.

"We should get ready so we can go out"

I squeal and get off the bed, heading to the bathroom.

"Wait for me baby"

I start getting ready for our shower while mommy makes her way to the bathroom.

After our shower we get dressed.

I'm wearing my favorite fuzzy purple sweater and purple skirt. I have my knee high black socks with purple bows, and converse.

Mommy is wearing a black shirt and black pants with her converse also.

"We match" I giggle.

"We sure do babe, let's make breakfast princess. What do you want?"

"PANCAKES!"

"alright hun, wanna help"

I nod excitedly

After breakfast, which was a little bit of a disaster because I spilled flour on the floor, we finally can head out.

"Where do you want to go first princess?" Mommy asks me.

"BUILD A BEAR!"

"Okay baby girl"

I blush.

"Love you mommy.."

"Love you too princess" she reaches over and kisses me on the cheek, making me blush more, and then she starts the car.

We make it to Build-A-Bear and I'm so excited I almost ran in...but mommy wouldn't like that very much so I wait till she opens the car door for me.

"Okay baby let's go"

I squeal again and get out of the car.

When we get into the building I start to get to work. I pick out the one I want (a pink dog with white spots), stuff it, and dress it.

"Mommy mommy, I did it all by myself this time!"

"I'm so proud of you baby girl!"

"Thank you mommy"

"What do you want to do now?"

"Can we get more art stuff mommy?"

"Sure little one"

"Yay"

We head to the store. I smile the whole way there.

"What did you have in mind to get little one?"

"Coloring books, markers, glitter...."

"Alright"

We get a few coloring book, one has animals and the other is princesses, A couple packs of markers, and blue, pink, black and purple glitter.

"Mommy...?"

"Yes?"

"...Can... Can I pay this time?"
"Sure baby, you feel a little grown up?"

I nod and blush. Mommy smiles and hands me the money.

"Okay baby we can go to one more place"

"Park!"

There isn't anyone at the park, which is nice mommy sits down and I go off to play with my new stuffie.

I swing, go down the slide, and climb on the monkey bars.

We have been there for while, I know because mommy says:

"Princess you can go down the slide 5 more times then he have to go"

"Okay mommy"

I go to the slide and go down a few more times. Then head over to mommy.

"Let's go home bug"

When we get home I can barely move.

"Tired little girl?"

I yawn and nod. Mommy pics me and and carries me inside all the way to our room.

Mommy tucks me in with my new stuffie and leaves the room.

"Mommy" I call out

"Yes little girl"

"...I want cuddles please"

She comes over to the bed and spoons me.

I slowly start to drift off to sleep.

"Thank you mommy" I mumble.

"No problem big" she kisses my forehead and I fall asleep.
