Ash---
I wake up in a cold and strange room. Everything hurts, from my head to my feet.
What happened?
The last thing I remember is trying to tell Alex about-
Oh right... We crashed
We crashed..?
WE CRASHED
"ALEX !" I yell at the top of my lungs.
A nurse runs in.
"Honey please calm down, you could hurt yourself more if you don't"
I take a deep breath.
"Is my Alex okay?" I ask slightly paniced.
"Ah ash your awake" A doctor comes in the room.
"I'm doctor Smith, I'm the one that took care of you. You have a broken right arm and left leg. Some bruising and cuts, but other than that you seem to be fine"
"Thank you doctor... But where is Alex"
His face changes.
"Alex... Alex got hurt.. Way worse than you did"
"No... Is... Is she dead! "
"No no... But she is in a coma. We tried everything, but now we need to wait and see"
I lose it I start sobbing. What else can I do? I'm sitting here, in a hospital, my wife in a coma, and I'm broken... Literally.
I start to calm down a little.
"Can.... Can I see her? "
"Not right now, I'm sorry. You need your rest. First thing in the morning I'll send a nurse down here to take you to see her"
"Thank you... For everything" He smiles and him and the nurse leave. I try and sleep, it's no use. My wife could be gone and I'll be all alone. I start to cry until sleep overtakes me.
My last thought being "Alex"
