Ash's POV
I wake up in the arms of my lover, Alex. It's nice and warm and I want to stay here forever. She is so beautiful when she sleeps. So peaceful, so pure. I stare at her for a little longer, then she starts to stir.
"Morning sugar"
"Morning Alex, sleep well? "
"Not in a headspace today love? And I always sleep well when I'm with cuddling you" She smiles. I chuckle at her response.
"Nope, it happens sometimes, I'm just not little I guess"
"I know baby, I know all about you honey. Also were you watching me while I slept? "
"Maybe"
"You're cute ya know that?" She says to me.
"Maybe" We both giggle and enjoy each others company.
"Hey I have a day off today, what should we do?" She asks me.
"Hmmm... Well I haven't been out of my headspace in awhile. Let's go on a regular old date"
I get out of bed, walk to the window, and look out of it.
"What do you have in mind?"
"Picnic in the park? It's a beautiful day out side."
"Sounds good"
We both get up to have breakfast, coffee and a nice day as adults.
