Ash's POV

Mommy already went to work, so I have to find things to do while she is away... I know!

I'll color a pretty picture for her!

I grab all my art supplies, crayons, paper,  markers, pencils, glue and of course glitter.

First I grab my pencil and make a small sketch of me and mommy, it had sun, a flower garden, and puppies everywhere! Then I color it in with my coloring pencils. Next I outline it with my markers. Lastly I put glue on it and put glitter over that.

"All done! " I yell.

I look at the table and realise the mess I made..

"Uh ohs... Mommy is gonna be weal mad if I don't cwean up"

I clean up all my stuff,  put it away and hang my art work out to dry. I the sit on the couch.

What to do now?

I know! I clean up the house! Mommy would love a clean house!

I put on my cleaning apron and start cleaning.

Dishes,  done.

Trash, taken out.

Floor,  swept and mopped.

Bathroom, all cleaned.

Our room, all tidy.

"Now mommy can come home to a nice clean house,  she will be so proud!.... But now what to do? "

Just then my phone rings. The call name says "Mommy",  and I pick up.

"Hi mommy!"

"Hi Princess! " How is your day going?"

"It's fine,  what about you?"

"It's okay... I just miss you"

"I miss you too"

"I'm sorry --- I can't --- I don't ---- love you BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

.... what... She doesn't... Love me?

I start balling then and there. After a we have been through. She doesn't love me! I sit there and cry, completely defeated.

--- Few hours later --

" Hi baby,  I missed you! "

I just sit there silently.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"You s-said you d-didnt love me"

"What?"

"On the phone"

"Honey no no, my phone cut out. I was going through a tunnel."

... Oh

"I'm sorry baby"

"It's okay mommy"

"Wow the house looks really nice princess"

I blush. "Thank you mommy"

"Let's go out for ice cream,  huh?"

Today was a good day
