CHAPTER 10

THE PASS week had been wonderful for the girl, not only she was away from her step sister and mother; she had met jeongguk again.

the soft sound of the girl humming to the familiar tune as she walked through the large hallways; exploring the mansion she had been living in.

her fingers brush through the pale coloured walls as her footsteps echoed the long hallways.

wind blew into the empty hallways as the girl found a small balcony at the end of the hallway, the glass for was wide open.

the sweet voice of the boy was heard by the girl who stood by the door, smiling as she heard the voice of the boy.

the tune she was humming was the same tune that she had heard the boy singing for the past week.

the girl leaned against the glass door as she stared at the singing boy in front of her, with love and adoration.

"you know, I can feel you staring." a smile slowly grew on the boy's face as he heard the girl gasped softly.

"I'm sorry." a throaty chuckle was let out from the boy as he patted the seat next to him.

the girl moved softly towards the boy, the metal from the bench was cold due to the weather.

goosebumps raised from the girl's soft skin as she took a seat on the bench, her long skirt wasn't really keeping her legs warm.

as if the boy felt the girl shiver, he had moved closer to the girl; the girl's heart warmed up by his closeness.

"do you ever feel scared?" the boy turned his head over to the girl. "of what?"

"like not being able to see." the boy sighed. sure he did felt scared, he was still scared; of not being able to regain his sight.

"sometimes." the girl was scared, she was scared that once the boy had regained his eyesight; he wouldn't like her anymore.

she was scared that, after he regained his eyesight; she would had too leave him and go home.

"what about you?" the girl played with her fingers as the boy asked her back, she looked up to him.

"always." her voice came out really soft, the boy felt his heart tighten from her delicate voice.

the two sat there in silence as wind blew pass them, it wasn't an uncomfortable silence; they weren't uncomfortable with each other.

"I'm glad I met you." they enjoyed each other's presence, as their heart beats on the same speed.

"I am too." their fingers brushed against each other as they sat there, staring into the distance.

the boy slowly linked their fingers together, pulling her soft hands into his large ones; warming it up.

the girl smiled softly as she slowly place her head on the boy's shoulder, they surely did enjoyed each other's presence.
