CHAPTER 15

RAIN SLOWLY fell down from the gloomy sky as the couple drove off to their destination, soeun frowned.

"it's raining, guk." the girl mumbled softly towards the boy beside her, who just smiled back at the girl.

"it's okay, we'll just do something else." the boy strokes her palm as she lay her head on the boy's shoulder.

soon the car came to a stop and the two got out, the umbrella hovered their head; the smell of rain took over their nostrils.

soeun took a deep breath at the scent, she always loved the smell of fresh rain; the same goes to the boy, who took a deep breath as well.

"we'll just walk around awhile, don't need to follow us." jeongguk told one of his guards.

the couple walked under the rain, water splashed the girl's legs as they step on it, the cold water made her shiver under jeongguk's black coat that he gave her.

"let's go into the coffee shop." the girl raised an eyebrow, how on earth did he knew there was a coffee shop in front of them.

"I've been here before." the boy let out a chuckle as the girl's cheek turned into a deep pink coloured.

they walked into the warm coffee store, there wasn't much people in the shop, the aromatic smell of fresh coffee was filled around the small shop.

"what do you want, I'll go order for you." the girl let the boy sat down on one of the couches.

"black coffee, thank you." the girl nodded before walking over to the cashier and ordered their drinks.

the girl was walking back to the table when suddenly, someone bumped into her harshly, causing her to stumble on her feet.

the heels from the person's high heels stabbed soeun's toes as she stumbled into her, causing her to cry out in pain.

"watch where your going!" the woman, who looked around 20 shouted, her american accent lingered.

"you should watch where you're going, you clearly bumped into me." soeun spoke as she glared at the woman with tear filled eyes.

the woman glared at soeun, ready to slap her across the face but a hand stopped her before she could even touch her.

"don't touch her." the familiar voice of jeongguk's spoke up as he pushed her hand away from the girl he loved.

"who are—" the woman's expression almost changed immediately as she turned over to jeongguk.

soeun knew, what the woman was thinking. jeongguk was a good looking guy, obviously she wouldn't do anything.

also the fact that jeongguk was dress in expensive clothes. it was easy to spot that he was in fact, wealthy.

"I'm sorry, I didn't—" the woman tried to apologise but she stopped once jeongguk pulled soeun into his arms.

"don't touch my woman." jeongguk walked away from the woman with a shook soeun in his arms.

they walked out the shop and got into the car that the girl didn't realise had stopped outside the coffee shop.

"I heard you screaming, are you ok?" jeongguk held her hand in his large one and strokes it softly.

"her heel stabbed my toe." the girl sniffed, her tears were gone but it caused her to have a stuffy nose.

"are you bleeding?" jeongguk had an concerned look on his face as he asked, which warmed the girl's heart.

"a little bit but it's okay." the girl glanced down her toes. she lied, it wasn't a little; her toenails were cracked open and bleeding a lot.

the driver raised an eyebrow at the girl but the girl ignored his gaze and smiled softly at jeongguk.

"I know you're lying, I've been stabbed on a heel before and it hurts like a bitch." the girl wanted to laugh.

the girl watches as jeongguk looked thought the car's cabinets, looking for something until his hand came out with a first aid kit.

"it's fine jeongguk, I can do it myself." soeun tried to stop him but he just shook his head and continued what he was doing.

the girl watches as the boy damped the cotton and cleaned her toe for her, her heart melted by looking at the boy in front of her.

he was truly, a gift from the god; the girl couldn't but to think that and she was lucky that he was hers.
