CHAPTER 37 | EPILOGUE

JEONGGUK was woken up by his wife screaming his name. "jeon jeongguk!" he immediately got up and run downstairs.

"what is it?" he screamed back, afraid that something might had happened to his 8 in a half months pregnant wife.

he stopped as he show his wife on the floor, holding her stomach with a box of cereal beside her.

"I can't get up, help me." she pouted at him and held her hand up, the young man chuckled at his silly wife.

"why were you on the ground in the first place?" jeongguk helped his wife got up and let her sat down on the couch.

"I was hungry so I came down, looking for some food and when I found the cereal, I accidentally dropped it so I tried getting it with my huge belly."

jeongguk let out a laugh at his wife again before place a kiss on her forehead, "you're adorable."

the young man took a seat beside his wife and rubbed her stomach, "hey kiddo, don't cause to much pain for your mother when you come out alright?"

soeun slapped her husband's hand away, "I want waffles." she stated. Just jeongguk blinked at her, confused.

"waffles!" she screamed, jeongguk immediately stood up and run to the kitchen. "waffles, waffles, waffles." he mumbled, looking for the ingredients.

as the young man was mixing the ingredients, his wife shouted again. "jeongguk!" he sighed.

"it's almost done" he shouted back, but then she screamed his name again. the young man walked out with the bowl and sighed.

"what-" the bowl slipped out from his hand as he saw the puddle of water. "my fucking water broke, you bastard!" she screamed.

"omg omg omg." jeongguk rain to his wife and help her up, "the bag!" he immediately run to grab the emergency bag and carried his wife to the elevator with the bag sliding off his shoulder.

he didn't care if she was heavy or not, he wanted his baby and wife to be safe and that was all he cared about that moment.

THEIR FRIENDS and family stood outside the emergency room, as soeun gave birth inside the room.

the emergency room was noisy, with the nurse calling soeun to push and soeun cursing at jeongguk for making her deal with all this pain.

"ow, goddamnit stop hitting me soeun!" jeongguk tried to avoid her hitting but it only made her hit harder.

"don't curse in front of our baby!" the girl screamed at his husband, who was already in pain, not only by her hitting but also she was squeezing his hand.

his fingers looked purple in soeun's small hands that were tighten around his large ones, jeongguk cringe everytime she tightens her hold.

the room was soon filled with a baby crying, soeun lay on the bed all sweating and tired from all the pushing.

jeongguk place a soft kiss on his wife's forehead, thanking her for her hard work on giving birth to their baby boy.
