Tobias's POV
I am not in a good mood today
first the fighting
I have calculus first up
Then there was the conversation with Tris - I can't blame her for hating me but I still am angry about it
And now I have to stay behind, just great!
As the class piles out I walk up to Mr Jones's desk
" Ah, Mr Eaton" Mr Jones said
"Yes sir" I said
"I am not happy with your results on that little quiz we did" Mr Jones said
"In my defence, sir, we have only been here a couple of days"
"Yes but everyone else in this class past, Miss Prior even got 100%" Mr Jones said
of course she did I thought
"Which is why I have arranged for you to be tutored, we don't want you to fail another year now do we" Mr Jones said
"No sir" I said "would you mind me asking who is tutoring me"
"Why, Miss Prior of course" Mr Jones said
no, no,no, this can't be I think
"I don't think that will go very well sir" I said
"nonsense" Mr Jones said " Besides, it is to late, she has already agreed to it"
"oh" I said
"And as I am aware she has a lot of experience in the area" Mr Jones said " if I were you I would be booking times quickly as she has a busy schedule"
"Right" I said "is that all sir?"
"Yes, you may go Mr Eaton" Mr Jones said
As I walk out the door a number of thoughts are running through my head
Tris tutoring me?
How am I gonna pay?
When am I gonna have the time?
Why would she have experience in tutoring?
and most importantly
Why would she agree to this?
"What did Jones want?" Zeke asked as we walked to the cafeteria, I shrugged
"Are you alright mate?" Uriah asked "Your very pale"
I have no idea how I am gonna do this and with Tris of all people?
This is going to be impossible
