Tobias POV
I leave Uriah behind, feeling worked up
I see Tris at her locker and decide that now is a perfect time to apologies to her and then Al comes up behind her, locking her in a hug. A smile spread across her face that could light up New York City
Are they dating?
As if my day could get any worse
I hate how much the idea of the the two of them together bothers me
What is wrong with me?
Tris's POV
A pair of arms wrap around me
"Hey Trissy!" Al says and I can't help but smile "You feeling better?"
"Yeah, I am actually" I say as I lock my locker and I turn to face him
"So... there is something I need to ask you" Al stuttered
"What's up?" I ask
"So... listen... would you be interested in maybe, possibly, being more than friends?" Al asked nervously, I take a step backwards into the locker
"Listen Al, thats sweet and all but we are friends, but nothing more" I started "I don't think of you that way"
I get myself out of their quickly and almost ran into Kate
"Tris whats up? You look flustered" Kate asks
"Pretend you are talking to me" I say quickly
"But I am talking to you" kate says
"Good then keep walking" I say
"What is going on?" She asks, stopping
" Al just asked me out" I say as I turn to her
"OMG, what did you say?" Kate asked
"No of coarse" I answer straight away
"oh, god" Kate said "What are you going to do?"
"I don't know but it is going to be really awkward between the two of us"
"Good luck with that!" Kate smiles "Glad I wont be around to see it"
"What do you mean?" I ask, shocked
"I'm done with the group" kate says sadly "I'm sick of them saying how much of a jerk my brother is"
"Kate, I'm so sorry" I said and I meant it, I know how upset it made her when they talked about him - she really cares about her family, especially Tobias
" You didn't do anything, you weren't even there" kate said
"Well if your gone I'm not being a third wheel" Tris said
"Well I was thinking of hanging with Tobias and his group" Kate suggested " If you are cool to"
"I mean it could be worse" I smile but deep down I'm unsettled - I'm not sure his group is the best idea but if she wants to be near her brother than I'll support her
