Tobias' POV
Thankfully Kate is still at the lockers talking to Tris
"Kate I need to talk to you" I tell her and I let my expression show haow urgent it is
"Ok" She says and then turns to Tris "I'll see you at class"
"Sure" She smiles and walks off
"What did dad do?" I ask "Did he force himself on you?"
"No T, I'm just a little bruised that's all"
"Judging by Uriah's reaction its not just a little" I say and she lifts the side of her shirt up a little to reveal yellow and purple bruising
"Nothing is broken I promise" She says meakly
"When?" I ask because I have to know if it really was my fault
"When you were still at the party" She says staring at the ground
"This is all my fault Kate, I promise I'm going to fix this" I tell her "He is going to pay"
"T, don't blame yourself" She says and I can see the plea in her eyes "It isn't your fault he turned out this way"
The bell for class goes and she pushes past me before I can convince her to stay

At break I try to find Tris to apologies for missing her tutoring session on Friday, this appoligy is long overdue and has been eating my up all weekend
I spot both her and Kate in the line for the cafeteria and I get to them just after they have paid and are trying to leave
"Tris I need to talk to you" I tell her
"Funny that, I have nothing to say to you" She says
"Look I'm sorry I missed our session on Friday" I say sincerely and Kate's face turns white, her eyes going wide
She looks really guilty
Of coarse - she didn't know I realise
"See you don't even have an excuse" She sighs "I should of known you don't care"
I'm not going to tell her about Kate and our home life - that's up to Kate to disclose at her will so there is only one other option for me
"Yo!" I yell trying to silence the noise of the cafeteria and get everyone's attention, I get up on the closest table and try to ignore the nerves "I have something to say"
Everyone is shocked
"Tris, I really messed up, man I messed up big time and I know that nothing I can do will ever be enough after everything I've done to you but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I want you to know that I am truly sorry, not just for Friday but for causing your high school life to be a living nightmare" I address her, she looks shocked that I have done this, so does everyone else in the room
"Anyone who call you a stiff again will have me to deal with" I say loudly for everyone to here before I step of the table and the room erupts in applause
Her face goes crimson red and she runs out of the room with Kate hot on her tail, a crowd surrounds me preventing me from going after them
They are all patting me on the back but all that matters is her forgiveness
