The next day I walk down the steps to the lockers when I here Shauna talking
"So I heard that Uriah is going to ask me out now that I'm not with Tobias" She says to Lauren
"Really?" She says excitedly
"I mean, its what society is like isn't it? "Shauna continues "A hot guy, a popular girl, they are bound to get together"
Her shallowness just pisses me off
"You know there is more to him then looks?" I turn around and tell her
"Oh yeah?" She asks "How would you know? Your not his girlfriend, you don't stand a chance in that department honey"
I open my mouth to say something but closed it again
She was right
I mean, we kissed, but that doesn't mean we are dating
The two girls aren't focused on me anymore, they are fixated on something behind me and I'm about to turn around to find out what when a hand slides into mine
"Hey babe" Uriah smiles, placing a kiss on my cheek
"No way" Shauna says and storms off with Lauren at her heels, I try and hide my smirk
"Too soon?" He asks with a worried expression
"Uriah..." I start but he buts in
"I'm sorry, please forgive me, I can't believe I blew it already" He rambles
I stand on my tip toes and brush my lips against his
It is a brief peck but he stops rambling and his face lights up with a smile
" So I guess I can call you babe, huh?" He smiles and I look at the ground, trying to hide my blush
