Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok awoke early the next morning. Running through the house grabbing breakfast from Jin, making sure Namjoon had given them the correct music track, and packing their clothes for the competition. Each skittering around the house like desperate little kids excited for their field trip. Except the competition was far more important to them. If they won, they could be recognized by major companies. More over, if they won, they could take home full ride scholarships to pay for their entire degree.
"You guys are coming right?" Jungkook asked as he put on his shoes, his question mostly directed at Taehyung who stood watching him from the hallway.
"Of course we're coming," Namjoon yelled from the kitchen.
Jin poked his head out of the kitchen, "You guys need to go before you're late. We will see you tonight. Don't forget to eat the lunches I packed!"
"Ye~!" the three replied, as they headed out the door.
Jungkook running back quickly to share a kiss with Taehyung, "For good luck."
Jimin shook his head at the action but he knew he was really feeling jealousy. He wanted that. He wanted that with Yoongi. Jimin turned and headed out the door, mumbling under his breath, "Fuck him."☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
The dance hall was busy as the three arrived. Packed with other dancers practicing their routines, parents and friends running around to help, and staff members trying to set up everything. They made their way through the busy room, to the registration desk to put in their names and get their numbers before making a home in an unoccupied corner.
Jimin looked around. Male and female dancers practiced away. Some groups, some solo acts. All moving to the beats of the tracks playing from their headphones. Jimin sighed, trying to fight off the feeling of inferiority before his mind talked him out of the performance.
Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok took their own chance to warm up. Starting with stretches before practicing the choreo. Their headphones tuning out all other distractions. Jimin focusing on the steps and the music. Trying to let go of the past week. Trying to forget Yoongi. Despite how hard he focused, Yoongi was still there. Lingering in the corner of Jimin's mind that the elder deciding to call home."Number 38, 39, and 40?!"One of the producers called from the door way.
Immediately, the three stood up, "Ye!"
"You're up next, please follow me to stand by," she was before turning to lead them.
They ran over to her, following to the producer to the stage. The three standing to the side and watching the girl duo perform, waiting for their turn. Jimin took the chance to peer around the curtain at the audience. His eyes scanned the crowd until he caught sight of Jin and Namjoon sitting in the center. He smiled, happy for their support. When he caught sight of the dark figure next to them, his heart nearly stopped.
He came... Yoongi-ssi actually came.
Jimin felt a mix of emotions at the sight of Yoongi's expressionless face. For a moment he felt nervous to the point of nearly running out of the building, abandoning all hope. But his emotions turned. Jimin began to feel a sense of determination. Practically a need to prove something to Yoongi. But he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to prove. Maybe he wanted to show Yoongi what he was missing. That Jimin wasn't just a simple, innocent boy. But a man. A real man.
At the prompt of the PD, the three took the stage. Jimin making sure his eyes met Yoongi's as they took their positions on the stage. Jimin was determined to throw himself into the performance. To show Yoongi what he was capable of. To prove that the elder was stupid to push him away. Jimin made sure to keep eye contact with him through out the entire performance. Watch me.

Hoseok, Jimin, and Jungkook came dancing out of the backstage area. Trophy in hand for winning first place. Feeding off each others energy. Hoseok bouncing around as usual, his aura brighter than the sun. Leaving everyone near him happy and smiling.
Namjoon, Jin, and Yoongi were waiting for them by the front door. The eldest joining in the excitement of the moment as Namjoon half hearted jumped around. Though the pride was clear on his face, Namjoon's smile wide and shining like his eyes.
Jungkook quickly looked around, eyes wide as he searched the crowd, "I didn't see Taehyung, did the come with you guys?"
Namjoon smiled, "He was filming it from the back. He went home first. Said something about a surprise for you."
Jungkook looked happier at the idea of Tae's surprise than he did when they won't the competition, tugging on Jin's arm, "Come on! Come on! Let's go home!"
The elders laughed at his excitement, the group heading out of the building. Jimin lagged behind, walking slowly beside Yoongi. The two didn't speak but Jimin could see the elder keep looking at him. Sometimes from the corners of his vision and sometimes he was full on staring.
"What is it?" Jimin asked as they reached their vehicles.
Yoongi shook his head, "Nothing."
Jimin furrowed his brows, he was not in the mood for all this tip toeing. He clenched his fists in silent frustration as the others loaded into Jin's car.
"Jimin-ah, you coming?" Jungkook asked hurriedly from the back seat.
Jin smiled from the drivers seat, "Yoongi-ah, you're welcome to join us for the celebration."
Before Yoongi could reply, Jimin stepped forward, "You guys go ahead. I'm gonna catch a ride with Yoongi-ssi. Pick up some things to celebrate."
Jin nodded and Jimin was glad when Yoongi didn't protest. The others waved goodbye and sped off. Jungkook practically bouncing the entire car with his excitement.
"Making decisions for other people I see," Yoongi said, turning towards his bike.
Jimin Turned to him, cutting through all the bullshit, "Why were you staring at me?"
It was clear Jimin's out of character bluntness took Yoongi by surprise but he replied calmly, "You looked good dancing. I didn't realize you had that side to you."
"There are many sides to me," Jimin replied, creeping closer to Yoongi and turning him so they faced each other. "Take me to your place."
Yoongi stared at Jimin with wide eyes, "W-what?"
Jimin matched his gaze intently, stepping closer to the point of their chests touching, "Take me to your place."
Yoongi seemed nervous, "B-but everyone i-is celebrating at y-your house."
Jimin was growing bolder by the second, leaning in close and placing a light kiss against the soft skin at the crook of Yoongi's neck before whispering in his ear, "Take me to your place and I'll show you how many sides I have."
Jimin could see the defeat in Yoongi's eyes as the elder bit his bottom lip, shoving the extra helmet into Jimin's arms, "Let's go."
