Without wasting a moment, Jimin charged the suited henchman that punched him. As the man stumbled back- all hell broke loose. The other six drunken members attacked the other men. Each letting loose their battle cries to echo through out the empty streets of the neighborhood at the late hour. Each one cursing and grunting, heading face first into a fight none of them seemed sure they could win.
Jimin used all of the strength in his dancer legs, kicking CEO Kang's henchman to the ground. His eyes quickly shifting in Yoongi's direction. Despite Yoongi's slender physique and shorter stature, he held his own well. Knocking the older man to the ground with a solid right hook, leaving Yoongi to shake his hand from the pain as he backed away.
"Back off, you pig!" Jin's voice echoed behind them as one of CEO Kang's men had the eldest cornered against the wall.
"Leave him alone, gaesaekki-ah!" Before anyone knew what happened, Namjoon was flying through the air. His large fist rocketing into the man's face and knocking him to the ground. Turning quickly to make sure Jin was okay.
Before the other henchman could sneak up on Namjoon, Hoseok jumped him. Kicking the man away from his brothers before winding up another spin. Hoseok's heel flying backwards into the man's head. The henchman nearly instantly knocked out, practically dropping to the ground with dead weight.
Jimin's eyes shifted to the youngest two. He wasn't surprised to see Taehyung teasing the last man as Jungkook showed his muscles. The Maknae blocked the henchman's moves and socked him hard before pushing another stomp into his stomach. Leaving all of the CEO's men groaning on the ground.
"Let's go, let's go!" Jimin shouted instantly, urging the others to run.
Yoongi grabbed Jimin's hand, pulling the younger behind him as the group ran off. Hurrying to Jin's truck. Jin, quickly sobered from the fight, hopped into the drivers seat first. The others quickly piled in behind him. Making their escape just as the henchman made their way around the corner. The group yelling and cursing in victory at them as they drove away.☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
The seven made it back to the house in one piece. Each gathered in the living room, taking care of each other. Jin dressed the scrapes on Namjoon's hand and checked Hoseok's legs and ankles. Taehyung checked Jungkook worriedly as the Maknae shrugged him off, assuring him he was fine.
Jimin sat on the floor beside Yoongi. Both with ice packs wrapped around their knuckles, swollen and red from the fight.
Jimin felt a spark of electricity across his skin as Yoongi cupped his jaw, "Are you okay, Jiminie?"
"I'm fine," Jimin pulled Yoongi's hand from his face but didn't let it go, desperate not to lose the elder again. "My forehead flicks are stronger than that guy's punch."
Hoseok laughed, knowledgeable on the subject, "That's probably true. Your finger flicks are deadly."
"I'm pretty sure they cause concussions," Namjoon chimed in.
Jimin smiled at them, jokingly stretching his fingers, "Oh, You guys haven't had enough violence tonight huh?"
"Spare us, Jimin-ssi~" Jungkook teased in his familiar tone that caused them all to burst out laughing. The youngest's new nickname for Jimin had been a hit from the moment he said it. His bunny smile gleaming each time he said the nickname in his special voice. No matter how many times he said it, Jimin always laughed. Sometimes just to keep the irritation at bay. But even when the youngest teases the elders, they know in the end the respect is still there. Somehow they all understood each other like that.
"It's late," Yoongi's voice was loud, to alert the others. "I'm gonna head home."
Jin leapt to his feet, running to block the hallway to the door, "Like hell we're letting you go home."
Jimin nodded, holding tightly to Yoongi's hand, "Hyung, you can't. CEO Kang knows where you live."
"His thugs are probably already waiting there for you," Hoseok added.
"We have plenty of room here, Hyung," Taehyung added. "You can stay here."
"I have a better idea," Jimin added, mustering up his courage and meeting Yoongi's gaze. "L... Live here."
Yoongi's eyes grew wide, "What?"
"Move in with us," Jimin answered, excitement in his voice. "CEO Kang won't find this place. Not even my father knows I own it because it's in Jungkook's name."
Yoongi blushed harder, averting his gaze, but nodded, "I'd really like that."
Jimin welled with excitement, pulling Yoongi into a tight hug, "Daebak!"
Yoongi pulled away, "But my family... My mom won't leave the restaurant and my brother is too young-"
Namjoon cut him off, leaning forward, "Don't worry about them right now."
Jimin reassured, "I hired some people to protect your family before I ever walked into that boardroom."
"You knew he would send people?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin nodded, "Ye. I always said my father was a liar, a con man. That he was dangerous. He is all those things. Because that's what you have to be to make it in corporate society. My father's own mistakes showed me what CEO Kang might do once I took up that many shares of his company. I won't let them hurt any of you."
"Jiminie..." Yoongi's voice was soft, his eyes warm but sorrowful. "What about dancing?"
Everyone dropped their heads except Jimin, who rested his forehead against Yoongi's, "You're more important."
"But-" Yoongi tried to speak.
Jimin quickly kissed Yoongi's lips, "Enough. I knew what I was giving up when I made this decision. As well as what I was gaining. You're all I need Hyung."
Everyone stayed quiet. Jimin knew they could hear the pain in his words. See the sadness lingering in his eyes. He knew they could see right through him. Right now, he hated it. He made the right choice even if it hurt. Jimin didn't want to be reminded what he gave up any more.
"I need a shower, my muscles are stiff," Jimin said, taking to his feet to escape the heavy silence as he looked to Yoong. Finally letting go of his hand, "The others will show you to the extra room and where we keep everything. Jungkook hates sharing clothes so.... Feel free to raid his closet."
Jungkook gasped, "Jimin-ssi!"
Jimin laughed, waving the Maknae off as he headed down the hall. He slipped into the room he shared with Hoseok, grabbing some sweats and a T-shirt from their closet, before turning and moving into the bathroom. Locking the door behind him.
Jimin plugged his phone into one of Jungkook's portable speakers, to play some music, and turned on the water. With only the sounds of music and water filling his ears, rushing into his mind, Jimin dropped to his knees. Tears streaming instantly down his face. Using his towel to cover his face and bury his deep sobs.
Jimin loved Yoongi more than anything. Even dance. But without dance, without his dream- Jimin felt hollow. Half empty.
He didn't want the life he had now chosen to follow. Didn't want to become as disgusting as his father was. But he'd endure it all to have Yoongi.
He had given up his dream to keep his love. But the worry set in. What if he became his father? Will I be able to keep my love if I become someone else?
