Over the next month, Jimin was sure he had committed an awful crime in his past life. Each day he was tormented by the sight of Yoongi as the elder made his way into their circle of friends. To the point that Jimin wasn't even sure if he fit in any more. He couldn't dodge him at school or escape from him at home. Jimin lay trapped in his room. Alone. Even Yeon KiMin hadn't replied to his messages since Jimin's drunken ramble.
Plus, no matter how hard he tried, Jimin couldn't help but notice Yoongi growing close to Hoseok. Their combined interest in rap and music pulling them together. Even if their personalities were polar opposites they got along well. Too well for Jimin's liking. He was living in a perpetual cycle of jealous and anger and hurt.
And it was killing him; sinking to the bottom of the ocean as the pressure slowly crushing in on him.
He couldn't breathe. Constricted by the world around him. Unable to dance off the weights holding him down. He was simply... Lost.
Jimin trudged out of his final class, hurrying the long way around the school to get to the dance studio. Making sure not to run into Yoongi. Releasing a sigh of relief when he made it to the dance studio without seeing any of the others, though he knew Taehyung and Jungkook would have been waiting for him as usual. But he wasn't sure he could face them without being able to hold back his anger.
He swung open the door to the seemingly empty studio and stepped inside, shutting the door and locking it behind him. A completely useless endeavor as he spun around to see his fears come to fruition. As Yoongi and Hoseok looked up from their laptops. Jimin hadn't seen them sitting on the couches in the corner of the room.
Jimin stood, frozen in place, pretending he didn't see how close the two were sitting or how bright their smiles were as they looked at each other. He began to wish he was better at pretending.
"Jiminie," Hoseok smiled brightly at him. "What are you doing here? There's no practice today."
"I know," Jimin spoke robotically, adjusting to the situation in front of him. "I just came to practice something I've been working on for the final review for this term before Christmas break."
Yoongi kept his head down as Hoseok replied, "Oh, don't mind us then. Go ahead and practice, we'll use our headphones."
Jimin stood there for a few seconds, weighing his options, but his jealousy wouldn't let him live Hoseok and Yoongi alone, "Alright."
Jimin went to the stereo and connected his phone, sliding to the song he wanted. Playing it a little louder than usual and removing his jacket and sweater. Leaving him wearing only a light sheer shirt. Smirking a little when he noticed Yoongis reflection in the mirror staring at him a little too long. Taking advantage of the moment, Jimin began practicing his routine.

No matter how hard he tried, Jimin couldn't focus on his routine

No matter how hard he tried, Jimin couldn't focus on his routine. Making mistake after mistake as the two elders in the room talked and laughed together. Jimin couldn't help but steal glances at them in the mirror. Ignoring his own reflection, their laughter drowning out his music. Again he fell, smacking his knee on the way down and falling onto his back. He didn't move, amazed that he couldn't feel the pain in his body.
Hoseok and Yoongi sprang from their seats. Rushing to Jimin's aid. Hovering over him with equal looks of panic and worry.
"Jimin-ah," Yoongi's voice was stern and full of worry. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"Did you twist your ankle?" Hoseok asked.
Jimin sat up, running a hand through his hair, "I'm fine. I just lost my balance is all."
He took to his feet, finally feeling the pain shooting through his knee but he managed to hide it as he went to the couch. Slipping hos jacket on and pulling on his back pack. Turning back and heading for the door, "I'm gonna go home and get some rest."
Before anyone could say anything else, Jimin smiled out the door. Shivering as the cold night air hit his sweaty skin. Making it calmly around the corner before leaning against the wall of the main building, out of sight of the dace studio door. Wincing as he held his knee. The pain pinging like lightening whenever he put weight on it. Tears formed at the edges of his eyes. Not from pain but embarrassment. He couldn't even keep his calm in front of Yoongi.
"Yah!" panic struck Jimin the instant he heard the familiar voice. "Park Jimin."
Jimin turned to leave but Yoongi had already grabbed his shoulder and spun him around, "Where are you going?"
"Home," Jimin replied. "Like I said."
Yoongi glanced at Jimin's leg, "Not like that. Even if you take the bus you still have to walk 2 blocks to your house. I'll give you a ride."
Jimin shook off Yoongi's shoulder, hobbling back a few feet, "Why do you even care? You have a fiancé and a pretty cosy relationship with Hobi-hyung. So just forget about me."
"I can't," Yoongi said, his eyes piercing into Jimin like knives.
"You don't need me," The tears were becoming harder to hold back as Jimin spoke. "I'm da-"
"You're not damaged goods!" Yoongi yelled, his deep voice piercing through the quiet night. "You're perfect in every single way. I'm the one whose damaged goods. I'm the liar. I'm no better than your father."
The two grew still. Jimin staring at Yoongi with wide eyes as the elder stood frozen, staring at the ground. Both deer caught in the headlights of Yoongi's words.
"W... What did you just say?" Jimin's voice was shaking beyond his control.
     Yoongi didn't speak. Didn't move.
"What did you just say?!" Jimin's voice was abnormally deep, echoing off the buildings around them. Every muscle in his body tense as he stepped closer to Yoongi. "What... Did you just say?"
Yoongi met his gaze, eyes full of regret, "I can explain-"
     "Are you Yeon KiMin?"
   "Jimin-ah-"
"Answer the fucking question!" Taehyung had always said Jimin was scariest when he was angry so he was sure he looked demonic in this moment. His blood boiling.
"Yes." Yoongi replied, the softness in his eyes only making Jimin angrier.
Jimin couldn't hold himself back. Anger welled through him as he drew his arm back and lunged forward. His fist smacking into Yoongi's jaw. The elder stumbled back, holding his jaw and wincing in pain. Blood dripping from his lip as he looked back at Jimin. How could he still look at Jimin with that softness in his eyes?
The tears finally fell down Jimin's cheeks, his voice calm despite the irritation, "You're right. You're no Better than my father. No matter how much I wish you were. You're selfish and a liar."
Jimin turned to leave, choking back the sobs forming in his chest.
"I'm in love with you too!" Yoongi shouted back.
The words themselves spinning Jimin around to look at the Stark figure of Yoongi. Tears in his unusually soft eyes. Jimin hated how he wanted to run to him and apologize. But he didn't. He couldn't. He could only speak, a lie that sounded so truthful in that moment Jimin almost believed it himself, "It's too late."

Jimin turned, finally leaving the corridor, heading towards the bus stop. His heart aching more than his fist or knee. Rain slowly beginning to pour down onto him. He struggled to pull our his umbrella from his bag. Squatting down and letting the thunder drown out his sobs. Letting the rain disguise his tears. The image of Yoongi's pleasing eyes and bleeding lip, eating Jimin alive inside. How could he have hurt him? How could he have hurt the person he loved?
He sprang up, leaving his bag, running back to the dance studio. His mind only filled with regret. Wanting only to beg Yoongi's forgiveness. To tell him he didn't care about the lies. Only him.
As he turned the corner towards the studio, Jimin came to a sudden stop. Catching sight of Yoongi and Hoseok standing outside the studio. Hoseok worryingly checking Yoongi's wounds as the elder told him he was fine. Each touch Hoseok made against Yoongi's skin was a rip in his heart.
Until his heart stopped. Hoseok closes the gap between them. Leaning in and kissing Yoongi.
Jimin could feel the pieces of his heart crumble inside him at the sight. The pain grew unbearable as he hid behind the wall, his legs buckling beneath him. His umbrella dropping to god ground as he pulled his knees to his chest and buried his face. Letting the storm cover his cries, begging the lightening to strike him numb.
