I woke the next morning crawling out of the small bed. I found jeans and a pink silk tank top pulling them on. I walked out of the room only to find Blake waiting for me.

"Time to visit your family," Blake said as I frowned.

"Please don't hurt them," I whispered as he gripped my arm tightly dragging me from the room without a single word. He shoved me into the car carelessly before driving to the meeting location. Relief filled me as I spotted my mother in a crowded coffee shop. He couldn't hurt her in a public area. He snatched my hand pulling me out of the car and over to my mother. I knew my wrist would be bruised tomorrow from how rough Blake was being. My mother's lips parted as pain flashed through her icy gaze. Blake forced me into the car across from my mother as he stood beside me with a smirk.

"I have her here in one piece as promised," Blake said as I stared at my mother. I wanted to wrap my arms around her but I couldn't.

"What do you want with my daughter?" My mother asked tightly her eyes never leaving mine as she analyzed my every emotion.

"I don't want anything from her. I just enjoy the look in your eyes knowing it's your fault she's mine. Maybe I'll just bite her right here and turn her," Blake muttered his lips near my neck. My breath hitched as my heart raced with panic but also with a hint of hope. Even if he killed me he would be human again. He wasn't a threat to my family as a human.

"Stop," my mother said quickly with fear causing her voice to quiver.

"Why should I? I took your husband and now I can take your daughter," he said harshly. While his statement was untrue that still didn't change the sadness filling my chest. A tear slipped down my face as he laughed.

"What did she do to you?" I asked my voice barely a whisper. "How could you hate her so much?"

"She took away the one person I loved!" He growled as my mother flinched.

"Who?" I asked in confusion as my mother looked at Blake.

"The woman I loved," he said as I looked at my mother.

"She killed thousands before we ever considered taking her out," my mom snapped as Blake's hand clamped around my shoulder. Pain shot across my body but I masked it quickly.

"You murdered the only woman I cared about," he spat as betrayal ran through me. He lied about his feelings for me clearly.

"I will do whatever you want but please don't hurt her," my mother whispered as Blake pulled me to my feet.

"I want you all to burn," he growled before dragging me away. My mother watched helplessly as I disappeared from view. He carried me back into the building tossing me on my bed.

"So you lied," I sniped as he turned toward me.

"I'm a vampire, of course I lied," he smirked before walking away. Tears raced down my face as I thought of what was to come. Blake would do anything to hurt my family and I couldn't let that happen. I got to my feet pacing around the room. My mind churned as I tried to think of a solution to protect my family. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration before I exited the room. I headed into the kitchen to get a drink. I sipped the water when I felt a gust of wind. I whipped around coming face to face with Blake. He looked at me hungrily as my heart thumped with panic. Blake's hand brushed my hair from my neck exposing my milky flesh.

"Blake," I whispered my breath catching in my throat as he inched toward my neck.

"You smell so good," he whispered against my neck. His lips caressed my flesh as he spoke. I tried to move but found I couldn't. My heart raced as his lips pressed against my neck firmly while his arms clamped around my waist holding me still. His fangs grazed my skin but didn't cut me. A tear fell down my face because I knew what was about to happen and I had no way to stop this. I used to love Blake's touch but all I feel is disgusted as his fangs hovered millimeters from my delicate skin.

"You want me to bite you. I can feel it," Blake murmured against my neck before he released me. He smirked at me before walking away. I slid to the floor a sob escaping my lips. I wrapped my arms around my legs as tears streaked my face. I felt pathetic and weak but I couldn't stop the sobs ripping through me. I stayed on the floor for an hour crying until I finally reigned in my emotions putting up a calm mask hiding the fear and betrayal running through my veins. I got to my feet slowly before I walked toward the blood bags in the fridge. I grabbed the first blood bag wiping a small amount of my blood on the opening. I was glad my finger hadn't fully healed from when I saved my father from his cursed existence. I placed the blood bag back in the fridge hopefully in the same spot as it was a few minutes ago. I knew him drinking from the blood bag was a long shot but I had no other options so this was the best choice. I walked back into my room shutting the door. I sat on my bed turning off my emotions. The tension in the air was thick and weighing on me but at least I was still human and better yet, my blood was a weapon no one knew about!
