The next morning I woke up, got dressed and walked my way to school. As I was walking in my mind I was thinking whether or not to run in the opposite direction or to continue this ngihtmare. But I was going to stay strong throughout this fight so like yesterday, I used the side entrance of the school instead of the front doors and went straight to my locker. When I thought the bad moments were over just then I noticed a crowd surrounding my locker and every step I got closer to my locker I could hear people gossiping and eyes staring at me like they couldn't believe something. Once I saw my locker it said "Whore" in a fair pink lipstick. I wanted to say so much things, but I already knew who did this childish act and I am going to stay strong; but today is not going to be that day. Finding friends just went down to slim although somebody who I was expecting (NOT REALLY) showed up. Leo Howard is there standing next to me looking at what it says on my locker. "What are you looking at?" I say with an embarassed but yet careless adittude. He was so depressed then he says in return, "Just ignore it", it sounded in a whisper like tone. I then tell him exactly what I said yesterday, "Like I said, I don't belong here." And before he could say anything back I left and seconds later the first bell rings.
After a class with improvisation, practicing the piano and learning about the use of glitter and sequences I am in dire need of some physical education. Luckily my next class was cheoreography, but to be honest, my dancing is a bit rusty. When I was six my mother let me do some hip hop dance classes but by age 14 I had to stop; I don't know why my mother just told me that I couldn't attend anymore. Haven't danced ever since and now I am going into a dance class with celebrities. Just praying that I don't have to start learning some big major dance number. As I walk into the dance room I recognized only one person that I can become friends with, Zendaya. I am not one of those obssessive fan but I do admit she has crazy dance moves. As I am starting to psych myself out all I can hear is Leo's annoying voice saying, "You got to give us a chance", over and over. While everyone gives be a shanky stare I'd awkwardly walk in Zendaya's direction as she is strecthing. With a sketchy and hesitant tone I say, "Hey Zendaya." "Hey I didn't know you dance.?" I didn't know if she would ever talk to me since I blew her off yesterday when she was being friendly and I am simply this school's big whore. "Yeah, I used to when I was little but then I stopped when I turned 14." With a grin she says, "Not bad."
When the teacher showed she clapped her hands for our attention and we all face her, "Today we are going to finish our solo performances and then tomorrow we will start our big stage performance for our winter prep rally! Let's begin with Elizabeth Taylor." My eyes widen as I slowly reach center stage. "What song?", the teacher demanded. "Like a boy by Ciara." The music starts and I take in one deep breath and began moving to the beat... As my dancing stops simutaneously with the music all I could do was freeze. My own self could not believe what I just did, and same with the others around me. But if there was one thing I was for certain, that today I had made at least one friend and that's Zendaya.
When class was over she'd asked me if I were to sit with her at lunch and I agreed. And I knew when I agreed to sitting with her that meant sitting with Ross, Laura, Dove, Luke, Olivia, Leo and Spencer. Yet somehow I seem to always surprise myself; as Zendaya and I walk closer to the table I noticed no sign of Olivia or Leo. I'd assumed that Leo were for sure their friends, but I could see how they are not friends with Olivia. I'm mean who would want to be friends with a person that cold. "So let me give a formal introduction; Elizabeth Taylor this is Luke, Dove, Laura, Ross, and Spencer." I give a simple wave while trying to figure out what is the right thing to say. "Just for the record you didn't deserve what Olivia did to you yesterday." Laura comments. Ross adds, "Yeah the only reason she does those foolish stuff is because she's jealous that you got a cheek-kiss and she didn't." "Hold one! You got a CHEEK-KISS from Leo Howard. Tha's why the W-H-O-R-E was written on your locker this morning.. Well GGUURRLL you got that boy wrapped around your finger." Dove says in such a rush. I ask with curiousty, "What do you mean?" Zendaya gives me a one lifted brow look, "Cuz' that boy has NEVER been interested any girl here. Then on your first day of school here he gives you a CHEEK-KISS. He obviously has an interest for you." I'd started thinking about that scene where Leo gives me a cheek-kiss, and how he saw my leaving campus early, and also talking to me in public. My eyes wandered from my lunch tray to the loudest table in the cafeteria. Once I saw Leo he began staring at me with such a forward yet mysterious look. Right when we both made eye contact I looked back quickly to my lunch tray and started messing with my food. After five minutes of thinking to myself I asked a question that no one seemed to want to answer, "What happend between Olivia and Leo?" Dove looks around the table to each person and with a gasp she answered, "Well when they were working together they were falling for each other. When the tabloids interruded their relationship and started assumptions that's when Leo was turned off. Althought Olivia never stopped loving Leo and til' this day she gets envied over any girl that sparks up Leo's interest." Now I may eat in peace.
