Elizabeth's POV

After finishing the song, understanding that I must drift back into reality, even if that includes preparing to see my ex at the festival. Suddenly I saw Jax right when I walked through the doorway.

"Jax! Are you lost of something?" I said with a confused expression.

Then he looks at me and sliding down his siliva I knew he was quite uncomfortable and that whatever he was going to say next would be very serious and difficult for him to express.

"I was coming to find you, acutally." I starred at him waiting for him to continue his thoughts. "Was that you singing in there?" As Jax points to the door behind me. Clearly I didn't think he was standing there for so long to hear my voice and the song. Obivsouly he knew it must have been me so there is no point of lieing at this moment.

"Yes, why do you care?"

"I care because you are really talented. And that I would like to hang out with you sometime."

And there is was, Jax has a crush on the new girl, the girl with the hidden talents and after all he is not that bad looking. Leo would have a complete breakout and would automatically pick a fight with him. Since Leo is not here I don't have to worry about him reacting in an irrational matter.

"Thank you and sure. After school at the beach?" He looked rather elated when I told him the answer he was dying to hear.

"Ok that sounds great. See you then."

"Yeah, see you then."

We went our separate ways for the rest of the day and until the beach.

The clock stroke at 2:45 and the bell rings indicating that at this time it is ok to leave campus and to not return until tomorrow morning around 7:30 a.m. And I went to put back some books that I didn't need for homework or anything like that so I stuffed them into my locker and noticed Jax was a few feet away from me.

Thinking that we should walk there together since we already see each other. And so I walk with casulty to him but then Jason stops me.

Jason: "Hey Elizabeth, sorry about my girlfriend. She gets jealous every time I talk to another girl that she doesn't know. I hope she didn't rub off on the wrong way."

Elizabeth: "It was fine, I completely understand and don't worry, just tell your girlfriend that I am not interested in you. I like you but only as a friend."

Jason: "Right I will. You should hang out with us sometime. There is a volleyball tournament against that celeb school saturday you should come and cheer for our team."

Elizabeth: "Yeah sure! I could also take some shots. Cool what time does it start?"

Jason: "It starts at 12:00. Then after we are hanging out at the beach for the rest of the day. At night we are going to roast marshmellows and shoot fireworks."

Elizabeth: "Cool but I have to check with my dad."

Jason: "No problem just at least come for the game."

Elizabeth: "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Jason leaves in a sprint and then I see Jax leave his locker and turns the corner. I couldn't understand, but then I thought he was leaving to meet me at the beach today. So I quickly walked over to the beach and I went from the boardwalk all th way until the rocks. No site of him anywhere. Did he stand me up? All I know is that one minute we have a hate- like relationship and now he ditches me. Jax is obviously not the guy that I thought he was.
