Yay! New chapter! I think this one is actually pretty long. Well, not long long, just longer than usual. It took up seven whole pages in my notebook. It should be at least 3 full pages on here. This chapter is a very important chapter. Probably not the most important, but it is definitely a chapter that we couldn't do without. I had lots of fun writing this chapter and I hope ya'll like it. Don't forget to vote and comment! ;) <3

It was just starting to get dark once we made it to the park. Soft rays of sunlight drifted down on us as the sun itself made its slow descent past the horizon. The park was completely empty and it smelled of freshly cut grass, trees, and small, fragrant flowers.
A squirrel scampered over to the base of a tree and stopped there to pick up an acorn. It only sat for a moment before another squirrel came chattering after it. A cold wind blew across the park and I hugged my copper colored jacket tighter to my body. My short jean shorts did very little to protect my legs from the wind; goose-flesh broke out across my flesh.
"So, Nadia... How are you, you know, with your mother and all...?" Westley asked, breaking the silence, his hands shoved deep into his jean pockets.
"Well," I started, running my hand through my hair, "I'm still trying to figure out how to cope with it all. I mean, my mother has always been there for me."
"Wow. I wish my mother would be there for me just once. I can't really blame her though, since she has to look after everyone else," he said in an impressed tone that quickly shifted to annoyed. His eyes searched the sky and the stars that were just starting to appear were reflected in them.
"You have siblings?" I asked, my curiosity sparked. I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arm over my chest.
"What? Oh, ha... Not exactly. Anyways, your mother seems like she's pretty important to you," Westley pointed out.
"Yeah, she'd my rock. And way to change the subject." I replied, punching him playfully in the arm, a sad grin on my face.
"That wasn't exactly changing the subject, it was changing it back to what we were originally talking about," Westley defended himself. "What've the doctors said so far?"
"To me? Not much. Mostly 'I'm so sorry for you' and 'We're doing everything we can.'" I snorted. A strand of hair fell from behind my ear and I quickly tucked it back into place. I pointed to a bench underneath a tall. slender tree and suggested we sit there.
We slowly made our way over to the old, iron bench and sat down. The metal was cold against my skin, causing me to shiver. Another wind blew over us and a few leaves drifted slowly to the ground. My eyes lingered on the slowly rising moon, and when I looked back to say something to Westley, he was gone.
"Westley?" My voice pierced the silence of the evening. "Where are you?"
I whipped my head around, my eyes searching rapidly for any trace of him. Panic welled up behind me and my heart sped up, soon beating rapidly inside my chest.
"Nadia..." A voice whispered in the darkness. I let out a low groan.
"Not again! Westley, if that's you, this isn't funny!" I shouted into the night. The sun had finished setting and the moon was high in the sky. Stars twinkled down amidst the clouds.
