Oh my goodness, you guys! I did it! I did it! I finished my book! I can't believe it! I'm so happy that it's done, but I'm sad to see it go! I'd like to give a BIG thanks to all the people who have supported and encouraged me throughout the making of this novel! I couldn't do it without you guys! And without further ado, I, Britski, present to you, the last chapter...of Not Part of the Deal!

"I love you, Nadia," Westley said as he twirled a strand of my hair around his finger.  I placed my hands lightly on his chest and leaned against the door to my chamber.

"I know," I said, smiling pleasantly as I stared at his hand, twisting my dark lock around and around.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, pinching the hair between two of his fingers and stroking it against my cheek.  His deep blue eyes searched mine as I contemplated what to say.

"Earlier today, during the battle, when Easton caused you to fall... I was so scared that I'd lose you," I admitted quietly, turning my face to the side and staring off into the distance, down the hall.

"Nadia, as I fell, I thought only of how much I've fallen for you, so I drew power from some of the others to save myself.  It was selfish, but I'm glad I did it, because it means I get to be here with you," he said, placing a kiss against my cheek.  My eyes drifted shut as I, for this first time, truly began to imagine those very lips on mine.

"I'm glad you did it," I assured him, afraid to open my eyes.

"That's good to know," he remarked, sounding amused.  He returned to playing with my hair.  I timidly turned my head back so I could see his face, opening my eyes again.  He smiled roguishly, as if he could read my thoughts. I sure hoped he couldn't.

"I thought your speech, the one you gave ealier, I thought it was loevly," I complimented him.  He chuckled slowly, his voice low and gravely from lack of sleep.

"I think we should both go to sleep," he suggested, letting off a big yawn.  I frowned.

"What fun would that be?"

"Nadia, I can tell you're tired," he said, letting my hair fall back onto my shoulders and placing his hands on my hips while taking a tiny step closer.

"Am I really? Or are you?" I teased him, giving him a coy smile.

"I think you're very tired," Westley said firmly. I rolled my eyes and stepped closer, letting our feet touch at the toes.  I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed my head on his chest, tracing little circles on his spine.

"If I'm so tired, then make me go to bed.  Otherwise I'm not going to," I said defiantly.

"All righty then," he said, sweeping me off my feet by placing an arm under my knees and picking me up.  I gave him a pouting look as he opened the door and walked my inside.

"Why do you have to be such a party-poop-er?" I asked him, pounding a fist on his shoulder.

"Because," he said, placing me back on my own two feet as he kicked the door shut behind him, "you're tired."

"So what? We have all day tomorrow to sleep in," I told him.

"Ha! You do. I, on the other hand, have a quest to plan," he informed me.  My pout turned into a scowl as I digested this bit of information.
