Jack's P. O. V.

"Daniel, leave me alone," I spat as he pushed me outside.

"No, you're gonna talk to me." I glared at him.

"What is going on with you?"

"Nothing."

"That's a lie. What's going on with you?"

"I don't know, Daniel. I don't know why I'm doing what I'm doing."

"Let's just start with Gabbie." We sat down on the sidewalk.

"I don't love her. I thought I did, but she's just to help me get over Wren. But seeing her sent a wave of feelings right onto me."

"So why are you still with her?"

"Because if I'm not then I won't have a reason to not go back to Wren."

"And what's so bad about that? She loves you."

"No she doesn't."

"Jack she loves you more than anything. And you love her."

"But Gabbie-"

"Dude, you just said you don't love her."

"I like her so much, though."

"Seriously?"

"What?"

"Forget about Gabbie. You love Wren. And she loves you."

"Daniel, she doesn't love me anymore! She's over me. She doesn't want me anymore."

"Jack are you stupid? Do you not realize that every time she's behind a closed door she's crying because she doesn't have you?"

"What?" My voice cracked as tears filled my eyes.

"She loves you bro. She misses you."

"What-"

"Go get her."

I stood up and ran up to Aspen and Wren's room. I knocked on the door and Aspen came out.

"What?" She asked.

"I need to talk to Wren."

"She's in the shower. And even if she wasn't, she wouldn't want to talk to you."

"Aspen please, I need her."

"What?"

"Just let me in."

"Jack, she doesn't need to deal with you right now. Try again tomorrow."

Wren's P. O. V.

I stepped out of the shower and made sure everything looked how it had before. I didn't want anyone knowing what happened.

I heard Aspen open the bedroom door. I was curious so I peeked my head out. It was Jack.

"I need to talk to Wren," Jack said. What? Why does he need to talk to me?

"Aspen please, I need her." I could hear the hurt in his voice.

"Try again tomorrow."

Aspen closed the door so I closed the bathroom door and got dressed, still thinking about what Jack said.

I came out of the bathroom drying my hair with a towel. Aspen was laying in bed already so I slid in on the other side. Soon, I heard Aspen's soft snores and knew she was asleep, but I couldn't relax.

Why does Jack want to talk to me? Is he gonna yell at me again? Or does he want to apologize? Is he gonna try to get me back?

Wren's P. O. V.

"We should go get breakfast," Aspen suggested the next morning.

"Sure, let me go ask Jess if she wants to come."

"Girls day!"

Jess excitedly agreed and we all started getting ready. I wore jean shorts, a big t shirt that I tucked in the front, and my Adidas shoes. I curled my hair and added a little makeup.

I looked in the mirror and my eyes quickly went to my left wrist. You could see the three marks I left and I knew short sleeves wouldn't work. I quickly wiped my tears, thinking about what I did last night. I knew I shouldn't have done it, but I almost wanted to do it again.

I changed into a long sleeve crop top sweater and felt a little better. Aspen drove us into the city and we went to a little bakery.

Aspen's P. O. V.

"I'll be right back," I said. Jack was calling me so I excused myself and went to the bathroom.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, but I need you to do me a favor."

"What's up?"

"Can you make sure Wren is at home in about an hour?"

"Why?"

"I need to talk to her."

"I thought you had a meeting."

"I do, but I'm getting out of it."

"Jack, what's going on? Is this about last night?"

"Yeah. I'm gonna get Wren back." I could hear his smile.

"Finally. Okay, I'll get her there."

"Thank you so much." I hung up and went back to the table.

"So what are we doing today?"

"The guys have a meeting so the house is hours. We should just hang out at home and swim."

"I'm down," Jess said.

"Yeah, sounds good."

Wren's P. O. V.

We finished our breakfast and coffees then went outside. We were walking down the sidewalk, laughing and smiling with each other. We didn't see the guy coming towards us on his bike.

"Watch out!" He yelled. Someone grabbed me and pulled me out of the way.

When I opened my eyes I was looking into someone's bright green eyes. He was holding me in his arms and his strong arms had a tight grip on my waist. I smiled up at him and he smiled back, making his eyes twinkle.

"Sorry, I just don't like seeing pretty girls get hurt," he said with a smirk.

"Thank you," I blushed. He stood me up straight, leaving one hand on my waist.

"I'm Logan."

"Wren." He put his hand out and I shook his. He was really tall, probably as tall as Jonah, with brown shaggy hair, and perfect pink lips.

"Are you busy? I was actually on my way to Top Golf to meet a few of my friends. Wanna come?"

"I'd lo-"

"She can't, sorry," Aspen grabbed my arm.

"No, she can go. Sorry about that. Aspen, let's go," Jess said winking at me. I smiled and turned to look back at Logan.

"You wanna come?"

"I'd love to." I took his hand and we walked towards his car.
