Wren's P. O. V. *3 months later*

"Are you coming to Jack's birthday party later?" Aspen asked.

"Oh shit." I sighed. "Should I? I mean Logan and I had plans but-"

"Oh."

"Could I bring Logan?"

"Is that a good idea?"

"I mean, won't Gabbie be there?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Why wouldn't she be here?"

"Because they broke up. How did you not know this?"

"Wait, what? When did that happen?"

"Like when you met Logan."

"That long ago? Why didn't anyone tell me?"

"You really didn't know?"

"No. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I thought you knew."

"So then I shouldn't bring Logan to the party."

"I don't think that'd go down to well."

"I'll just cancel on Logan."

"Just tell him I'm making you go to a friends birthday."

"Okay. Thanks, I'll be right back."

I walked down the stairs and went to the kitchen as I called Logan.

"Hey babe," he said through the phone.

"Hey Logan."

"You ready for our date later?"

"Actually, can we reschedule?"

"What?"

"It's Aspen's friends birthday today and she wants me to go to their party."

"Oh."

"I'm sorry, but I haven't spent a lot of time with her lately."

"Yeah I get it."

"I'll call you later."

"Yeah sure. Oh and tell Jack I said happy birthday." He hung up. I looked at my phone, a confused expression all over my face.

"You okay?" I turned and saw Zach standing next to me.

"Logan is upset because I'm going to Jack's birthday party and not going on a date with him."

"Why don't you invite him?"

"Invite Logan? To Jack's party?"

"Yeah, why not?"

"How do you think Jack would feel about that? It's his birthday, I don't wanna upset him."

"Upset me how?" Jack walked in.

"What? Oh nothing." I drank my water.

"Zach-"

"I'm leaving before I say something I shouldn't." He quickly walked out.

"What's up with him?"

"I don't know," I shrugged. This was so awkward.

"You hanging out with Logan today?" He asked.

"No, I'm going to this guys birthday party instead." I shook my head.

"Oh. Um if Logan wants to come-"

"No I couldn't do that."

"No please, invite him."
