Chapter 16

Wren's P. O. V.

"Merry Christmas!" Everyone exclaimed as we hugged and welcomed them into Jack's house.

This year the guys weren't having Christmas together. They all went back to their homes and had Christmas wit their extended families. Except for Jack and I. I spent Christmas Eve with my family, but stayed the night at Jack's house.

We all gathered in he living room and passed out presents. I only had a few from Kristin and Syd.

"I'll give you your present later, okay babe?" Jack whispered in my ear.

"Okay," I said smiling. I watched as Jack opened his present. It was like an electronic picture frame of a slide show with tons of pictures of us.

"Baby I love it. Thank you," he said making me blush. He grabbed my face with one hand and kissed my lips.

"I love you," I told him. He kissed me again before going back to his presents.

After we had a huge wrapping paper war, we cleaned up and went to the kitchen for Christmas dinner. Blue was sat under my legs. She wasn't whining, but she looked at me with her puppy eyes and I gave in. I dropped her a few pieces of ham and she thanked me with kisses on my ankles.

"Thank you so much Kristin," I said taking a few plates to the kitchen. I helped her and Syd wash the dishes before returning to the living room.

We all drank hot cocoa while talking and laughing in the living room. Jack and I were cuddling on the couch with Isla in his lap.

Soon everyone went home leaving it to be just Jack's family and I. Isla and Kristina had turned on Christmas music and were dancing all around the room.

"Come on," Jack said standing up.

"What?"

"Come dance!" He exclaimed. I took his hand, laughing, and started jumping around and dancing to the music. Syd and Ava joined in and soon we were all dancing and having a party.

Jack held my hands as we danced around the living room. I started walking away, but Jack grabbed my waist. He wrapped his arms around me and picked me up, swinging me around and around.

"Jack!!" I screamed while laughing. Everyone was laughing and smiling as Jack continued to swing me around.

He started getting dizzy and fell onto the couch, holding me on top of him. We both sat up, me in between his legs, and burst out laughing. The whole family joined us until we were all out of breath.

We all calmed down and everyone slowly started leaving to their rooms. Jack was still cuddling me on the couch. He had his face in the crook of my neck and held my body close to his.

"Hey Jack?" I asked.

"Hm?" He hummed.

"What's my Christmas present?" I asked.

"Oh, right. I'll be back." He kissed my neck before getting up and running to his room. I patted the couch and Blue jumped up, curling up next to me. I scratched behind her ears and up and down her back.

"Okay, I got it." Jack came running back to the couch, his curls flopping all over the place.

He sat down next to me and grabbed my knees, turning my body towards his so we were facing each other.

"What is it?" I asked, smiling.

"Okay so I've been thinking about this for a while. And I'm not the best with words when it comes to this, but I'm gonna try my best. I love you and you know that. But I know that sometimes you can't help but think about the past and blame yourself. I don't ever want you to do that. You don't ever need to blame yourself for anything that's ever happened to me, except my happiness. You are the source of every last ounce of my happiness. Anyways, um, so yeah I hope my present will be a reminder that what happened in the past is not your fault. And this present is something that'll always make you think of me and how much I love you." He paused for a second.

"What is it?" I asked.

"What I got you represents my trust, my loyalty, my love. All of this is a promise. A promise to love you forever. A promise to always be there for you. When you need me, and even when you don't. I'll always be there. So please Wren, will you take this ring and take my promise?" He asked. He pulled a little box out of his sweats pocket and opened it revealing a beautiful ring.

"Jack! I-i don't know what to say!" I gasped.

"Just take it," he said.

"I will but I have to make my promise first," I told him. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Jack, you have literally made my life complete. I have holes in my heart from so many people in my life, but you came in and filled every single one of them. You made my life go from hell to heaven on earth and I couldn't ask for anything more. So I promise that I trust you with my life and I'll always be loyal to you. And I'll never ever stop loving you," I told him. He smiled and took the ring out of the box, slipping it onto my finger.

"Merry Christmas," he said.

"Thank you baby," I said. I chuckled then pushed him back on the couch and kissed his lips. He held one hand on my back and the other squeezing my ass.

He swiftly flipped us over so he was on top. He got off of me and picked me up bridal style, carrying me to his room. He put me on the bed then crawled on top of me. He kissed my neck, then my lips, before pulling away to try and take my shirt off. I grabbed his hands to stop him.

"Jack your whole family is in this house right now," I told him. He was still hovering over me, his face only inches from mine.

"I guess you'll just have to be quiet, babygirl," he said with a smirk. I blushed and got chills from him calling me babygirl.

He pulled my shirt over my head before pulling my pants down, too. I flipped Jack over so I was straddling him. I bit my lip before slowly unbuttoning his shirt. He squirmed under my touch. When his shirt was off I slid down his pants. I leaned back up and kissed his lips. Jack's hands were roaming my body, then he flipped me over so he was on top again.

"You have to be quiet babygirl," he said putting one finger to his lips. I nodded, biting my lip. He smirked as he pulled down our underwear.
