Chapter 24

Wren's P. O. V.

Jack and I were cuddling on the couch when the front door opened. I smiled, knowing that Daniel would be walking in with Jess.

"Hey guys," Daniel said walking in. Jess came slowly behind him. She was obviously nervous.

"I'm glad you're back Jess," Jack said. Jess took a breath and smiled at him.

"How are you?" I asked standing up to hug her. I hugged Daniel next.

"Okay, I guess. A little sore."

"Did something-"

"We don't need to talk about it," Daniel cut me off.

"How's the baby?" I asked.

"You knew?" Daniel asked.

"Wait, hold on. The baby?" Jack asked standing up and walking towards us.

"Did I say the baby? I meant uh you baby. Like how are you baby," I lied terribly.

"That's not really how I wanted to tell you guys," Jess said, looking down.

"You knew this whole time?" Daniel asked.

"Why do you think I tried so hard to convince you to go get her?"

"Guys, back up. Jess, you're pregnant?" Jack asked. Jess slowly nodded.

"She's pregnant?! Wren congrats!" Zach yelled.

"Wren's pregnant?!" Soon all the guys came rushing out to the living room.

"Oh, Jess you're back," Jonah said.

"I'm not pregnant," I told the guys. They all seemed a little sad.

"But...I am."

"With Justin's baby?" Corbyn asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, it's Daniel's. That's why I left Justin."

"Just so Daniel would take car of the baby?" Zach asked, looking a little angry.

"No guys that's not it at all," Daniel said.

"Justin hadn't changed as much as I thought he had. And I know you all knew it, I don't need any "I told you so". I was just caught up in the fact that he might have. But even then, I was still in love with Daniel. I always have been. I didn't even think Daniel would want this baby. We're both so young, I figured he'd wanna get rid of it just like Justin."

"But I'm not Justin."

"I know babe. But still, I was scared. So then wen he did come for me and took me back even with the baby, I knew that it was right."

"I'm so happy for you guys," Jonah said.

"Me too." All the guys agreed and we all group hugged.

"I've missed this," Jess said wiping a stray tear. "And I'm so sorry for hurting all of you, especially Wren and Daniel. I just made a mistake, like I usually do."

"It's okay Jess. Don't worry about it," Daniel said. He had his arm wrapped around her waist and he pulled her closer as he spoke.

Jack's P. O. V.

Daniel and Jess had left for the mall and took everyone with them, except Wren and I.

"Can you go get me some food?" She asked. I chuckled before kissing her lips and going to the kitchen.

I pulled out a frozen pizza and out it in the oven. Once it cooked I pulled it out and took it upstairs.

"I made pizza," I said walking in. I quickly put the pizza down, though, once I said Wren crying.

"Wren, baby what's wrong?" I asked rushing to her side. I pulled her close to my chest and kissed her head.

"I'm so sorry Jack."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I can't give you any kids."

I closed my eyes, pulling her closer. She continued crying. I moved her so she was sitting in front of me, her head down with her hair in her face. I made her look at me and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Wren, I want to have kids with you . I really do. But I'm not mad that you can't have them. I love you no matter what baby." I wiped a few of her tears and looked into her red eyes.

"I just wish I could give you what Jess gave Daniel. They're making a human. I just wish I could do that."

"I know you do, but it's okay that you can't. I know I probably don't understand what you're going through, but I promise you I'll still love you the same no matter what."

She softly smiled at me before pushing me back and laying on top of me. I held her waist against mine and kissed her forehead.

"I love you," she whispered.

"I love you more baby girl."
