Wren's P. O. V.

"Wren, you know what today is? Wait, what's wrong?" Jack asked. I was laying in bed with my back facing the door, crying.

I didn't say anything, so Jack came and sat behind me on the bed. He rubbed my back, trying to calm me down.

"Wren, why are you crying?" He asked. I slowly sat up and turned around to face him. He pulled me onto his lap so I wrapped my legs around his waist.

"She'd be 22 today," I said crying.

"Oh baby," Jack said pulling me into a hug. I cried into his shoulder, and he didn't care that his shirt was getting wet.

"I know it's the day we met and I should be happy, but I just miss her so much."

"I know you do baby. It's okay." He rubbed my back and kissed my neck.

"Can we go visit her and my mom?" I asked.

"Of course babygirl. Go get dressed and I'll take you." I wiped my tears and kissed his lips before I got up and went to our closet.

I pulled out some black jeans and stole one of Jack's black hoodies. I wore that with my Nike airs then went to the bathroom. I just brushed my hair and threw it into a ponytail then brushed my teeth. I didn't put any makeup on because I knew I'd be crying a lot.

"You ready to go?" Jack asked. I nodded, walking over to him and hugging him. We walked hand in hand to the car. We stopped by the store and got two bouquets for my mom and Em.

Jack drove me to the graveyard and we walked through it until we found my mom and Em's graves.

"Happy birthday Em," I whispered. I set the bouquet of roses on her gravestone and sat on the grass.

Jack came and sat next to me, wrapping an arm around my waist. I lay my head on his shoulder and let the tears fall. After a few minutes my shoulder started shaking and I was sobbing.

"Shh, it's okay baby," Jack whispered.

"I miss her so much," I said quietly.

"I know." He pulled me closer into his body. We stayed there for about ten more minutes, Jack just let me cry. It started getting windy, so Jack snuggled closer.

"It's getting late, and cold. I don't want you getting sick," he said kissing my cheek.

"Okay." I said my goodbyes to Em and my mom before standing up with Jack. He took his jacket off and wrapped it around my shoulders, walking me to the car.

At home, Jack picked me up and carried me to my room. He lay down and pulled me on top of him. I kissed his neck and he rubbed his hands up and down my back.

**1 month later**

The guys had all gone to the mall, but I stayed behind. I was feeling a little under the weather and didn't want to be a bother to the guys. I was laying in bed with Blue when my stomach started growling.

I walked down the hall to get some food from the kitchen, when I heard crying coming from Daniel's room. I softly knocked on the door, then opened it seeing him crying in his bed.

"I thought you went to the mall with the guys," Daniel said, quickly wiping his tears.

"I thought the same about you. What's wrong?" I asked coming into his room. I sat on the edge of his bed.

"I miss Jess."

"I'm sorry Daniel."

"I just keep thinking about her and how happy she probably is with him."

"I doubt that she's happier with him than she was with you. She doesn't realize how much she lost."

"Yeah but it doesn't even matter. Because now he has her and there's nothing I can do about it."

"There is something you can do about it."

"Wren-"

"Go and get her. She hasn't seen you since before Justin came back. Just go talk to her face to face and she'll realize how big of a mistake she made."

"I can't do it. I can't see her."

"Why not?"

"Because if I see her face, all I'll wanna do is kiss her and I can't do that."

"You didn't stop Justin. Why should he stop you?"

"I'm not gonna do that to Jess. I'm not Justin. I'm not gonna force her into anything."

"That's just it. Justin forced her back into the relationship by making her think he's changed, but he hasn't."

"How do you know?"

"Because when I went to visit her last month, he hit both Jack and I. I don't think he'd have that much of a problem hitting Jess again."

"He hit you? And she stayed with him?" He asked. I nodded.

"He sucked her in too deep."

"And you need to go get her."

"But-"

"Go. Get. Her."

"Wren-"

"Stop! Stop trying to convince yourself tat she doesn't miss you. I know she does."

"Have you talked to her?"

"Not about you, but about Justin."

"Has he hurt her again?" He asked. I could see his blood starting to boil.

"Not really."

"What do you mean not really?"

"I can't say. Just go see her. I promise you won't regret it."

"Fine. I'll leave in an hour." I smiled at him. I walked into my room and sat on my bed.

Jess and I had talked almost everyday since she left. Justin was nice at first, but he started getting aggressive. He wasn't hitting her, but he'd raise his voice a lot and he didn't like when she left the house. She says he's just being overprotective, but it's a little much.

I knew that if Daniel went to see her, she'd crack. Justin can't control her and keep her under the spell if Daniel's there. All I want is them two to be happy, and they'll only be happy again if they're together.
