22. Confused

I try to squeeze his hand a bit, I try to give him a sign that I'm still here, listening to everything he says. I'm still listening to his small sobs and his slowly breathing.

"MOM" he yells. "MOM SHE'S AWAKE"

"Are you sure?" A sweet but cracked voice asks.

"Mom she squeezed my hand. I'm positive" His other hand covers up our entwined ones.

I hear a door open and feel his hands loosen around mine.

"The visiting hours are over" a soft voice speaks. "You can come back tomorrow"

"Okay" Luke's cracked deep voice sounds disappointed and sad.

His soft lips and cold lipring touch my forehead and he whispers me a goodbye and goodnight.

I open my eyes, not knowing what time nor day it is. Not knowing what the hell has happened to me and not knowing where my loved ones are. But I'm surprisingly feeling great.

I look down to the bed I'm currently lying on. Light-blue sheets are covering my bare legs and thin gown. Memories of the voices I heard yesterday and the way I felt were crawling back into my mind, causing me to be less confused.

I look beside me and notice a bouquet of fresh soft pink flowers, and a tanned boy sleeping on the chair beside me. Luke?

Jai's POV

Luke had an important appointment so I decided to stay with Ashely today, since she was getting out in an hour or so. I was crawled up in a chair with my eyes closed, trying to get some sleep. And being happy with the fact that I got Ashley all for myself for a week.

"Luke?" Her soft voice spoke and my eyes immediately shot open.

Should I tell her that I'm not?

Maybe she'll like me the way I like her now.

"Yes babe?" I replied. Luke's gonna be pissed.

"I heard you speak to the doctor yesterday" her bright blue eyes started tearing up. "Is it true?"

"Do you want me to explain?" I asked her

"Yes" she pleased, got up and sat back down again.

I made everything up, from our 'first kiss' to the way she ended up here and ended it with an 'I love you'.

The doctor came in and broke our little moment together.

"Good news" he started

"There's no big damage so you can go home. Take it easy though." He shook hands with us both and left again.

As soon as the door closed she smiled bright, standing up and giving me a huge hug. I stroke her back, give her a small kiss on her cheek and grab her already packed stuff. She goes to bathroom to change real quick and comes back within three minutes. "Let's go"

The ride home was quick, but fun.

As soon as we stepped into the house, we immediately noticed that nobody was home. Perfect moment to make a move.

I carefully and softly push her against the wall in the hall, sweetly stroking my thumb over her flushed cheeks.

She starts smiling and looks me straight into my eyes.

"Luke?" She asks nervous

"Yes babe?" I repeat my words from earlier

"Do you seriously love me? Like you told me an hour ago?" She looks down

My index finger holds her chin up and I kiss her slowly on her lips.

"I do" I breathe within the kiss and she kisses back.

"Do I love you back?" She asks.

I don't reply and lift her up and carry her to the living room. I lay her down on the couch and get on top of her with both of my knees at either side of her legs.

The kiss continues and gets more heated by second. Her hands get inside of my shirt and travel all the way up to my chest. I smile and softly bite her lip.

I break our heated kiss and my lips explore her unfamiliar neck, searching her sweetest spot.

I suck harshly while my right hand pulls on the elastic band of her sweats.

I could feel her heart beating faster.

"Loosen up baby" I whispered into her neck.

I slowly took her sweats off along with her panties. She immediately reacted by tugging at mine. I also took mine off along with my shirt, leaving her only with a shirt on and myself with my black boxers.

I started sucking at the same spot of her neck again and blew some cold air to mix up her feelings.

"Are you ready?" I asked while slowly stoking her area with my thumb. She nodded and grabbed my hair.

I started pumping with my index finger and kissing the spot right below her bellybutton. She started moaning my brother's name, fuck.

I put a second finger and started pumping more roughly out of frustration and jealousy.

"YES" she screamed. I smiled and my lips moved lower, until I got to her spot and flicked my tongue, causing her to pull my hair really hard. Turning me on even more.

I stopped and took her shirt off, appreciating my view.

I looked for my bottoms and dug my hand in one of its pockets, safety.

I ripped it open with my teeth and looked at her one more time.

"Ready?" I asked, feeling guilty as hell.
