Sorry for the lateness, I had some testing this week so it was hard to make time for another chapter! So I apologize if it's a bit shorter than usual, also a bit rushed.

Danny's POV

All sorts of questions swarmed my mind. Like, 'Where in the pancake flipping world did she get that!?!' til the answer dawned on me. 'Pandora.'

Pandora loved collecting all sorts of Ghost Zone artifacts.  I vaguely remember her saying it was like a hobby to her.

"How'dya get Pandora to lend it?" I asked. Pandora wasn't really a 'sharing is caring!' kind of person.

Soon I heard her let out a nervous laugh. Which led me to realize another thing, 'She stole it'

I let out a long sigh. "As long as I'm not involved, I won't tell." I simply say. Ember might be scary when angry, but Pandora is ten times more! I don't want to go facing her wrath! Ember gave me a thankful smile.

"Wait a minute," I stopped her before she could unlock the door, and I throw one of my hoodies out of her, a black one with the captions 'BOO!' on it. "I don't need a girl who looks as if she just threw off her shirt dragging me around  a costume store." I state.

"You realize you won't ever get this hoodie back, right?" She asked while putting it on. I nodded, good thing that wasn't my favorite hoodie. Bad thing, that's the fourth time I lost a hoodie to Ember.

"So what costume store are we going to? Phil's Costume Emporium?" I asked, leaning against the wall. She let out a snort.

"Nah. If you want things done professionally, you go to 'Ghosts & Ghouls Galore!" She exclaimed. I was already wincing at how much money I was probably going to lose.

" 'Kay, let's go." And we finally left the hallway we were standing in for oh so long.

*Thirteen Minutes Later*

Ember finally let go since we finally made it to Ghosts & Ghouls Galore. After being dragged by Ember for about thirteen minutes, I was glad to feel the circulation of my arm come back.

It looked more professional than most costume stores. There wasn't any tacky cobwebs or plastic eyeballs decorated anywhere. The question is, 'how does Ember know about this place? I mean, I was here weeks before she was! And someway she knows more than me!'

I pushed all my thoughts away as Ember proceeded to, once again, drag me by my arm.

"Come on," she urged, "You still got work, so let's spend the next three hours in the store and come home in time for you to get to work!" It only struck me now that I have work. I was starting to realize Ember was actually a bit responsible. She had remembered the party, which completely escaped my mind, and she remembered that I had to got to work!

She dragged me into the store. Rows and rows of costumes everywhere.

*2 hours Later*

Piles upon piles of costumes where piled upon my arms. Ember seemingly was unable to find a good costume. I, on the underhand, had found a perfect costume within the first 30 minutes. (Try to guess the costume~)

"Does this look nice?" She stepping out of the changing room. She was wearing a  long lace dress, black leggings, and cat ears.

"What kind of cat is that?" I asked in confusion.

"How am I suppose to know?" She asked rhetorically, "For all I know, this may not even be a cat!"

It confused me that she still hadn't found a costume she liked. Since the last hour, she's been changing from witches to girl versions of superheroes to weirder stuff.

"Excuse me, but can you tell me where the ninja costumes?" I heard someone say from behind me.

I turn around to see a guy in a blue hooded flannel jacket, covering his hair.

"Isle 5 to left, why?" Ember butted in, still wearing that, barely

"I'm gonna go to a costume party next week." He said with a nervous smile. Suddenly, a huge grin appeared on Ember. While I just felt out, but I didn't want to intervene.

"The one on 2021 W. Paper Street?" She asked, curiosity leaking through her words. The guy just nodded.

"Awesome! That's the one me and BabyPop over there going to! Isn't that right, Dipstick?" She stated, suddenly pulling me into the conversation.

"Oh, um, yah." I said, rather awkwardly.

"So.... You two a thing?" He guessed. And at that movement, I felt like drinking some water, just to do a spit take.

Ember's eyes bulged while my face lit up a little blush.

"No, no, no, no!" She waved her hands frantically.

"we're are just friends!" I say, putting emphasis on the 'friends' part.

"Oh, sorry for assuming. Just thought with the nicknames and all>" The guy confessed, letting out a few nervous chuckles. A few seconds of silence past.

"Let's start over," Ember stated, and the guy nodded in agreement,"Name's Em-"

I cut her off, "-mily! That's her name! Emily!" Ember was still known internationally, because she was a rock star, even if her stardom dropped a lot during that time years ago. But she managed to build it up some more, just without that whole mind control thing. I still wanted to live a normal life, and I don't need people connecting dots that the once very famous rock star Ember was hanging out with a supposed normy like me. Even with the hair change and everything.

Ember shot me a little glare, but I ignored it easily.

"And I'm Daniel, but most call me Danny." I greeted, holding out my hand.

"Name's Richard, but most call me Dick." He greeted back with a friendly smile, shaking my outstretched hand.

<Phantom Fact>

The Fenton's have an invention known as the 'Fenton Stockade' which is a supposed punishment tool. The Stockade is a metal coffin with metal spiked in the inside. Luckily, it was never used.
