Chapter seventeen: There are no secrets anymore.

We got to LA and we rolled up to a movie premier and all the famous celebrities were there, I could see Josh Hutcherson, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, and heaps of others, all being interviewed, pictures taken, all that kind of stuff. Lou grabbed my hand and  squeezed it lightly until all the boys poured out of the car and all attention went to them. I started shaking, I don’t think I could handle myself in front of all these celebrities.

“Don’t worry, you’re the most beautiful girl here.” He smiled, getting out of the limo, holding his arm out for me to hold on to. I linked his arm with his, and got out of the limo, everyone looked in our direction.

“Louis! Who’s this beautiful girl’s name?” an interviewer asked studying me from head to toe. I had to smile because camera’s were flashing from every angle.

“She’s Sydney, she’s been my best friend forever!” he smiled. He seemed so comfortable, me, however, well, I’m shaking.

“How come we haven’t heard of her before?”

‘Uh, we had a fall out for a little bit…” He chocked, unlinking his arm from mine, intertwining his fingers with mine,  squeezing my hand lightly, he knows I’m not handling it all too well.

“What’s this? Are you two and item?” She winked. He looked at me, looking for approval, is he really going to tell everyone already? I guess they’d been broken up for about eight months, so it’s not that bad. I gave him a slight nod, hoping the girl didn’t see.

“Yes we are.”

“How adorable.” She smiled, taking note and turning to the rest of the boys to ask them some questions.

“So what do you guys think about Sydney?” She asked.

“She’s absolutely lovely! Lou’s a lucky guy.” Was all I heard before Lou pulled me towards the next lot of interviewers, with the boys eventually catching up to us. Laughing and smiling, Niall grabbed my arm and pulled me to the other side of the carpet, to talk to another interviewer.

“So you and Louis are an item now?”

“Uh, yeah.” I stuttered. Niall put his arm around my shoulder, reassuring me, they’re all so nice.

“She’s so beautiful isn’t she? Lou’s a lucky guy.” He smiled at her.

“She is quite beautiful, do you think we’ll be seeing more of her?” She directed that one at Niall.

“They’ve been best friends since they were like ten, and they went out for two years, and broke up because Lou wanted to focus on his career, and he’s realised that no girl, not even one as perfect as Eleanor will ever fill the shoes of Sydney, so yes I think we’ll be seeing a whole lot more of Sydney.” He smiled pulling me in closer playfully. I couldn’t help but giggle. The guys were just as amazing as everyone made them out to be.

When we finally made it into the theatre, I sat down between Lou and Niall, Harry on the other side of Lou, and then Liam and Zayn on the other side of Niall, Zayn was busy chatting up some chick and Niall was inhaling some popcorn, while Liam attempted stealing a piece. Lou had his arm around me but was listening to Harry whisper something to him, so I just awkwardly looked forward and hoped I didn’t look like too much of an outcast.

Lou turned towards me, and whispered in my ear “If I told you I loved you, would you say you loved me back?” and kissed me on the cheek, before turning to the movie which was just starting up. Throughout the whole movie, those words played over and over in my head, I mean, of course I loved Louis, I had a “celebrity crush” on him forever, except it wasn’t a crush on some celebrity, I truly knew everything about Louis, he was my Boo.
