Cora was too curious for her own good.

Seeing Peter get into that sleek black car again after practice was eating her alive with curiosity. This time, she hadn't even meant to see him. She had been walking in an upstairs hallway and saw him through the windows, also seeing a man in a suit with him.

After she saw the man in the suit, she had concluded that it wasn't just his ride home. It also couldn't just be the Stark Internship.. who would treat an intern to a personal escort in a car that probably cost more than Cora's future tuition?

That had happened yesterday on Wednesday, and now it was another day where Peter was supposed to come over to work on the project. She wanted to ask him about the black car and the man in the suit.. but wouldn't that seem creepy? The last thing Cora needed was Peter thinking she was a stalker or obsessed with him.

"I don't know, MJ. It's weird." Cora whispered to her best friend, the two sitting on the bean bag chairs in the library during the last period. Their English class had gone in to work on essays, but the two girls had already finished theirs.

"Peter is just weird in general." Michelle retorted as she stayed focused on her sketchbook, probably drawing Cora as she looked concerned, or stressed. After all, she enjoyed drawing people in crisis.

"Okay but.. who caters to an intern like that?"

"Tony Stark."

"MJ, we don't even know if this internship is real." Cora pointed out, twirling her pencil between her fingers. "Besides, isn't Stark an arrogant, playboy philanthropist? That's what you call him, anyway." She told Michelle who sighed, looking up from her sketchbook.

"Well," Michelle said, "if you're so curious, why don't you follow the car one day or something?"

Cora gave her a look that said, 'seriously?' before she shook her head. "That's ridiculous, MJ. I'm not going to follow him. That's like.. obsessive."

Michelle only shrugged, "just call it being observant."

Cora rolled her eyes at her friend's reasoning, "not everything can be observing, MJ."

"It is if you're discreet enough."

"I'm pretty sure that's just stalking."
