"Shit, I'm nervous."

Cora patiently waited on the roof of Mozart's Records for Spider-Man to appear. She played with the light that emitted from her hands, making little images with it while she waited.

Truth be told, Cora didn't truly know what it was that came from her hands. She just called it light. Spider-Man said it looked more like magic, since she can make images from it and force fields. He always said her powers were better than his, since his web's weren't actually coming from his wrists, but rather from some tech he had built. He had super senses, which he said sucked a lot of the time because it was similar to a sensory disorder. He had super strength and agility, and he could stick to things.

Cora on the other hand had this light that she could do almost anything with, super strength and agility, her eyes could turn violet, and who knows, maybe she had more.

"Hey Vi!"

Cora jumped in shock, the flower she was conjuring in her hand disappearing as she saw the boy on the side of the building. She sighed in relief, since it was Spider-Man and not someone else.

"Hey, Spandex." She replied, Peter not coming up to meet her. "Anything on the radar tonight?"

"Yeah! Robbery at 44th. Come on!" Peter exclaimed, jumping and swinging from the building. Cora grinned and followed him, close behind as she jumped from building to building.

Peter stopped just above the building where the crime was taking place, outside of the place surrounded by motorcycles. "Who would rob a pharmacy with motorcycles as get aways?" He asked as Cora landed next to him, and she thought for a moment, before the realisation hit her.

"Biker gangs." Cora said, glancing at Peter. They had been working together for nearly a month, and still had no ideas about who the other was.

"Oh.." Peter said, and only a moment later, he saw one man in the window with a large gun. "Shit. Vi, I can't go in there."

"What?"

"I can't go in there. He's got a gun. If my au- mom, finds out, I'm done for. I promised her no guns." Peter explained, only to see Cora shrug.

"Then I'll go in myself!"

"What? Vi, no!" Peter exclaimed before she swung down, carefully tucking and rolling beside the building. He groaned in frustration, but kept a close eye on the girl as she made her way to an entrance of the place.
