I didn't struggle as Oak strangled me-keeping true to my word, something I rarely do. I eventually passed out. And began to dream...

***

Suddenly, a cat appeared out of thin air. Sophia immediately knew who it was...

Wildfire. Or Sophia's past-self.

However, this Wildfire didn't have a single scar.

Sophia looked her straight in Wildfire's teal eyes. "I'm not you anymore." Sophia said, barley growling, bravely. Wildfire grinned, "Wildfire... She is in all of us-" "Leave me alone!" Sophia interupted, slashing Wildfire's face. It drew blood. "I hope you like pain." Wildfire said, her teal eyes gleaming with pure joy.

Wildfire attacked Sophia, viciously. Going for her neck first. Sophia cried out in pain as Wildfire ripped her neck wide open, and the green grass began soaking up blood. Sophia's own blood.

Wildfire stepped back, continuing to grin evilly at her. "The darkness consumes us all." The beautiful blue sky-instead of filling with light or clouds-it filled with darkness. "I will never walk into the darkness," Sophia growled, speaking best she could seeing that her throat had almost been ripped out completely. "Never..." Sophia coughed up some blood, then said wearily, "Again...!"

Wildfire continued her evil grin, "If you won't walk into the darkness. The darkness will consume you wether you like it or not. I'd expect you to wonder into the darkness like an helpless kitten. Like a helpless kitten that we killed."

Darkness was everywhere, it filled everything, until all you could see was a outline of Wildfire's face, and her once teal eyes now, turned a rather fearful grey.

It was all she could see, Wildfire's whiskers visible, for they were reflecting some light... Most of her outlined in fact... But where was the light coming from?

Sophia slowly shut her eyes, she was dying

Sophia slowly shut her eyes, she was dying.

Her blood all over the once beautifully green grass. It all just stopped...

Then she felt nothing.

I woke up, panting. Also, I was, currently, in the middle of about seventeen different cats. So yeah, that was just lovely. Anyways, I looked around at the colorful pack of cats who had evil grins on their fluffy faces, full of scars, fur, and whiskers.

I growled slightly, and they all laughed, "Look who it is! The cat of the hour!" My growl grew louder, "Where is Pixels?!" Scraps laughed, "You mean the simpleton Calico kitten?! She's right next to you!"

I looked over to my side, where there was the terrified Pixels was laying, her belly low to the ground, and her fur on end.

I got up off of the ground I had been laying on, and shook of slightly, and walked over to Pixels to comfort her. She growled loudly, and hissed louder at me.

I cocked my head curiously. "Pixels," I said slowly walking towards her, and slowly talking. "Pixels... Are you okay...?" She hissed louder somehow. I took the hint, and backed off as far as I could without bumping into the any of the cats that surrounded us.

I slowly sat down, "Pixels... I can see that something is wrong-" Don't talk to me!" She interrupted. I couldn't help but say more, "Pixels, what is wrong?"

"Don't use my name!" She snarled, "You... You-Mutt!" She started quivering violently, but not enough to concern me.

"What is it?" I wanted to get defensive, but knew that would be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, stupid of me.

Repetitive, 'very'.

Pixels was letting off a very strong fear-scent. It was so overwhelming to the point where I had to hold my breath a little bit as I spoke.

She stood to her full height-which was rather tall when cats do that, especially me-trying to be brave. She growled, her voice quivering, "Yo-You-You're-You'r-You are... W-Wildfire."

I let out a little gasp, and the breath that I was holding within you jaws was let out, and more of the fear-scent filled my nostrils, and throat.

The group of cats broke out into a fit of hysterical laughter. They laughed quite a lot, actually.

Well, I thought looking at Pixels in her dialated, fear-filled eyes. She knows, and they told her. Obviously. Now, time to think of an awesome-clever way to escape, while trying to get some information out of these Mutts.
