When you woke up the next morning, the bed was empty. Where was Shawn? That was your first thought while you yawned and slowly sat up. Then you grabbed your phone and looked at the clock. It was 9:27 a.m. Actually Shawn was a late sleeper, why was he already up? You ran my hands through your hair, then sleepily got up and went to the bathroom.
After that, you tiredly made your way downstairs to the kitchen, as the smell of burning in the hallway hit your nose. What the hell was he up to now?

You dragged myself down the stairs, opened the door to the kitchen and saw Shawn standing in front of the stove, shirtless. Your heart stopped beating for a moment. You had never been able to look at his naked torso before. He was so well-toned that your jaw dropped a little. Even though you had already expected it, he had incredibly muscular arms, just for your own liking.

"Hey, morning honey." He greeted you with a big grin, sending you a quick glance but then eventually turned back to the stove. "What are you doing?" You asked with interest, walking behind the counter to get a look at the pan in front of him. "Pancakes. I hope you like them."
Smiling, you nodded and stood next to him as he smiled at you as well. "Good." he whispered, flipping one of the pancakes and putting the fork on the side. "How did you sleep?" he asked in response, facing me directly so you had a perfect view of his abs.

"Um... good." you stammered your words as you had probably been staring at his stomach for a while. He started laughing, moved closer to you, and then smiled. "Me too." Shawn whispered in response and put his hands on my waist. "Good." You replied, slightly confused, and just stared into his hazel eyes.

The two of you stood like that for quite a while, looking into each other's eyes and talking without saying anything. He was the only person you could communicate with without really talking, just with looks. And that's exactly what Shawn did with you. His looks spoke a thousand words. You could also see in his eyes that he was totally tired, but still totally awake somehow.

"Shawn... your pancake!" You panicked at one point, seeing smoke behind him. He pulled his hands away abruptly, turned in a flash and pulled the pan off the stove. "I got it I got it! It's fine." He took the pancake out of the pan and showed it to you. "It's fine. Not that burned." You nodded with a grin and then replied:" Good job."
Grinning, he made the next pancake and scraped the rest of the batter from a bowl. "Almost done!" he then informed you as you sat down at the dining room table.

"Good. Let's eat. Maple syrup, Nutella or jam?" he then asked, placing the plate of pancakes on the table in front of you. "Um... Nutella I guess." Without saying anything else he tossed you an entire jar of Nutella, which you luckily caught!
„Oh my god Shawn!" You exclaimed and gently placed it on the table. "Sorry." he laughed off, then sat down next to you and handed me a pancake. "Here you go..." he smiled and took one as well.

"Damn Shawn I didn't know you could cook." You said after the first bite and looked at him in amazement. "Theres a lot you dont know about me yet." He started grinning and looked at you. „Yeah what else is there to know?" You smiled. He simply shrugged his shoulders and started to laugh. „A lot."
