Like I suspected I ended up in the Darklands. Ira was there of course, waiting for me. The real question though is what kind of mood is he in. Was he scary or... In a interesting mood to say.

"So your back. Did you find what you were looking for?" Ira asked after a few seconds. His voice was mid-toned but easy.

I nodded. I knew he was suggesting the prophecy. "One with the blood of darkness but not the heart of one and one who's powers haven't developed true powers but instead disguised as one with white," I quoted.

Ira paused slightly to think about the two clues. "Do you have any ideas of who it could be?" I asked. I hardly doubted it but I might as well try. It could save me a lot of time.

"Sorry but no," he said. I sighed sadly. Well there goes my hopes.

I thought about telling him about the shadowcrafter things but decided not to say all I know.

"What does a dragon symbol mean?" I asked carefully, thinking of the note he left on the book.

"What?" Ira asked confused. I sighed. So he didn't remember the letter.

"In that shadowcrafter book. The letter." I patted my sweatshirt pockets to find my phone to remember it wasn't actually on me when I went to sleep. I thought back to me plugging it in after school.

Ira's body went tense. "A dragon? Wings spread wide open?" His voice was suddenly harsh. I flinched, fearing I said something wrong.

Ira said something under his breath that I couldn't understand. He turned his head towards me. I hadn't realized how my badly my hands were shaking.

"Why are you always tense around me? Fearful?" He asked, his voice nicer. If you closed your eyes it was actually quite calming.

I swallowed. I didn't want to tell him the truth but something about his voice persuaded me. "You're a shadowcrafter. Opposite of angels. You rule darkness," I said slowly, picking my words carefully.

"Masai is the ruler of the Omin," he replied as soon as I stopped talking.

I bit my lip, thinking about Ira's question. I thought to Masai. Though actually, now that I think about it, this is the first time Ira's had used Masai's name. Strange.

I thought back to the first time I met Ira. "He didn't break my arm the first time we met!" I said before I could stop myself. Crap.

Ira started laughing. Laughing. I looked at him strangely. He was laughing. Why?

"I guess that's true. Though maybe it could be we don't know each other. Not like we can. Sunrise is near," he said chuckiling.

I was still questioning him when I realized I had started to fade away. I was waking up.

"Maybe next time we can get to know each other better," Ira said before the surroundings of the Darklands started to fade away from my senses.

I opened my eyes calmly. It's been a while since I woke up without feeling like I'm about to have a heart attack. For a few seconds I stared at the ceiling, the fan still on from last night. Golden light came through the open window.

My breathing was still. It was peaceful, birds chirping from outside. How I needed these quiet moments. Especially at how stressed I've been lately with this whole prophecy problem.
