I sat in front of the fireplace. Mother combed through my knotted hair."What's wrong with me?" I asked, sorrow filling my voice.
Mother stopped brushing my hair.
Not this again. Why this memory?
"There's nothing wrong with you. Your amazing," my mother replied, going back to coming my hair.
I rolled my eyes. Liar.

I didn't stay in the Umbre when I passed. In a matter of seconds I was at the entrance of Kari.
I walked to Koro's house, knocking on the door. Koro answered it quickly.
I haven't seen Tristan since our fight. Which I was thankful for but it was strange he was never home when I came to train Koro.
"Kai! Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. Are you here to train?" Koro asked excitedly. For a ten year old he acted a lot younger.
I smiled. "Ya. I had nothing better to do so I figured, why not?"
Koro jumped up, full of energy and raced off to the training field. I didn't bother to race after him so I just shadow jumped to the spot. I arrived quicker than Koro did.
Koro came running up, panting as he tried to talk. "No... Fair. You used... Magic."
I laughed. "And you're a demon skilled with running."
Koro opened his mouth but didn't say anything. He closed his mouth and his face grew pink. "Whatever," he mumbled.
I smiled. I always loved winning a debate. Though there's no way I'm signing up for debate club. Too many people who probably think I'm weird or hate me. Though at least Aria wasn't on debate.
"So what magic do you want to try today?" I asked Koro.
Koro was quiet, thinking of all the different options. Finally he shrugged. "Whatever you want to practice time I guess."
The thought of what magic I need to work on was quick and easy. Light magic. I'm strong at it but I have no control over it what so ever.
"Let's try light magic. Light magic uses everything to do with memories. The most effective way is to use it to manipulate there enemies. Is it ok if I see some of your memories?" I asked.
Koro nodded. "Ok. It's not like I really have any memories I wouldn't want people to know about."
I took a deep breath. "Ok. Then let's try this," I mummbled under my breath. I reached out and touched Koro. I focused on my light magic and threw it towards where we touched.
One of Koro's memories wrapped around us. He was much younger and was with a women. His mother I would guess.
They were running through a grassy field. A river flowed through the middle of it. It was a very pretty sight.
Koro was laughing. He looked so enjoyed. And his mother was absolutely stunning. Her long silver hair floated on a phantom breeze. It didn't make her look old like you would think but instead made her look like a fresh snowflake.
