I stared out the window as the school bus drove off to the field study. I was sitting at the back of the bus. Nobody was sitting around me by a two seat ratios. I watched as the shadows flicked across the street as we drove by.

Aria was sitting at the middle of the bus and yet I could hear her perfectly. She always talked loudly so everyone could hear her. She was talking to her friend, I forgot her name, about something about her cousin's birthday or something. I hardly cared by now.

Me and Aria have been in the same class four years in a row so far. Even worse is we're going to the same middle school after this year.

The back of the bus was freezing cold by now. I knew exactly why. That's why I decided to ignore it. The cold didn't bother me anyway.

I felt something on my foot. I looked down to see a paper airplane. I bent down to pick it up, unfolding it. There was writting on the inside. Four sentences. It wasn't signed at the bottom or anything. Just four lines which was more of a riddle than anything.

Those who are unseen are known. Those who are feared gain power. Those who are strong will survive. Those who are unique will strive in all world's.

I jumped up right away. "Your father's signature?!" I shouted more loudly than I wanted to.

So it wasn't Ira's? I thought back to when I brought it up. Ira seemed to be angry. Why didn't he mention it?

Masai nodded, way more calm than I was. "What does it say?" He asked.

I chewed on my lip. I knew but heart what it read. But maybe I translated it wrong? I looked at the picture. "Darkness will rise. Night shall sufficate the day. I shall rule the Omin. But trust me, you're coming with me. You can't hide. I know who your are Kai Murami. No one is safe now," I read aloud.

"What?!" Masai shouted but the bell for the start of school had already rung before I was able to reply.

I looked at the ground. "Got to go," I mumbled before grabbing my bag and started to run to school. I've never been late for class before and that's not changing.

Masai was about to chase after me but Tristan grabbed his wrist to whisper something in his hear. Masai wiped his head at him, looking angry. That was all I was able to see before I entered school.

I headed to first period. Unlike most people I didn't necessarily have a locker so I just took my stuff to class.

First period I had science. Second was PE. Then I had art, Japanese, lunch, free period, humanities, and then of course, math.

Even though I'm fluent in Japanese I take the class. Mainly I just help the teacher. Though, now that I think about it, why does Masai take it? Being in the Omin he should already know it.

And then of course I have a free period for fifth period. How? I really don't care. Though it seems I'm one of the only girls not on the cheer squad which is fifth period. Or football for the boys. You would think that would be seventh period but I guess not.

I actually never saw Masai during fifth period. I never asked him what class he had. Probably because he hasn't even stayed a full week of school.
