Hi. I'm Melissa.

I'm a girl who just finished school for the year, on her summer break.

She has a bunch of loving friends who are idols to her in every way.

But there's a part of Melissa you don't know.

You don't know that she's crying, watching two of her best friends fight.

You don't know that she wants to die.

You don't know that you're killing a life.

You don't know that you're hurting someone.

You don't know her.

And you never will.

Because she's on the edge of breaking.

It's 9:44 PM at night.

Her parents just went upstairs for the night, and they leave her on the couch, alone. She turns up the TV volume high so they don't hear her sobs.

They don't know that she's depressed. Or bipolar.

All they see is a happy child.

That's all that matters, right?

Because as long as you're happy.

You have nothing to worry about.

Life is fair.

*Smiles* See.

You can't see the lies through a smile.

"I'm fine."

"No thank you."

"I'm happy! Don't worry" She smiles.

Because happiness can fix anything.

They don't know that cyberbullying has ruined everything for her.

I'm sorry if it's legal in your state.

But do YOU think it's right.

To see someone crying behind a screen.

Wanting to kill them self.

If you do,

Why.

How would you feel if you caused a dead.

Just imagine living with that guilt.

If you think that's bad.

Think about killing lives.

So how would you feel.

I don't give a shit about your backstory, where you came from, what have you done.

I truly care about what you have done, ever since I met you. That's what I care about.

So please tell me.

Is this OoHhAaIi the true girl you see on the internet?

Is it really?

Or is it a girl trying to fix a friendship. That isn't working out.

But that doesn't matter.

Because I smile.

Because nobody truly cares if I'm happy.

Right?

Because if I just smile,

It's all good.

Because smiles make everything better.

Right?
