Imagine you getting jealous of Hayley.

"She's beautiful," you sighed, "isn't she?"

"Rebekah informed you, I presume?" Elijah said as you gazed at Hayley.

"Of your attraction to her," You raised a brow, "or that she's carrying Nik's child."

Elijah frowned.

"Don't deny it for my sake, Elijah," You chuckled darkly, "you deserve another chance at love, I hope this one's better than your beloved Katerina."

"Does this trouble you, Y/n?" Elijah asked.

"Of course not," You turned away, "You are entitled to any woman you'd like, why should it trouble me."

"I have heard your heart quicken at my closeness but I had never assumed..."

"Assumed what Elijah! That the little girl that your family had taken in so, so, so long ago," You hissed, "my have feelings for one of you."

"I apologise if I offended you," Elijah caught your arm.

"You have no need to worry, Elijah," You began to walk away, "I always knew that you're feelings for me were only brotherly."

You stormed away to your room. Elijah frowned as you left, he wondered what could have happened if he'd realised your feelings earlier...

Elijah snapped out of his daze to hear Hayley calling him. Suddenly the werewolf didn't seem as appealing.
