"I loved him," Ray stated.

"Hold on, what's with the past tense?" You asked.

Ray stands up haltingly, trembling. Some declared, he was in such shock. Or some may think he was betrayed by Mikey. You support Ray's back, eventually he's back down. His mind is blank. As for the picture of what happened to him, is either torn or lost. But is in Ray somewhere. You look at Ray, no condition to interact with us.

"I think he's not ready to tell you."

"Shut your mouth, Way." You command him.

You're waiting for an answer hidden in his mind. The TV that you're watching is lost from the radar. Lost his signal. Momentarily, there's only silence which you and Way waited the other Toro to speak up. Eventually, he did.

"Why is he here?" Ray said, still staring blankly at the grass.

"Woah, boy. Easy there."

"Yeah, Gee's right."

"He's with Mikey."

"He's with us, Ray."

"Can you even trust anyone? He's clearly with them."

"Can you even trust yourself? He's way too innocent."

"Yeah."

"Besides, we could use back-ups."

"Huh, fine."

"Yeay!"

"You're lucky now, Way."

Ray stands up and gestures Gerard to stand too. You raise your hand in hope that somebody will lift you up. Gerard gladly took that chance.

"We need to have an emergency meeting stats."

You nod. Gerard looks at the sky.

"Shit, I need to go home."

Hinting that the sun is about to set, Gerard point at it directly while he exclaimed it out. He quickly wave you a good-bye which you gladly reply. A hint of warm small smile is plastered across both of your faces. Ray is looking him suspiciously. Yet you still want to ask Ray about what he said about Mikey.

"So, about that past-tense and involving Mikey."

"Oh yeah. So y'know I have a crush on Mikey and I thought he loved me back. But that affections are just pretending."

"That's harsh."

"Yeah, After we got separated, Me and Him have a light conversation. Then he brought out a letter, which I read."

"I'm guessing is the invitation letter to a battle."

"Exactly. Then he drugged me. He said, 'Shouldn't have trust me, huh? Feeling are for the weak.'"

"M'kay."

"I guess all of the touching, feeling, all that stuff is meaningless?"

"Ray, I don't know how to interpret this. But it is important."

"Says the person that laughs at violence."

"I kept my loyalty."

"Hence you chose me over violence."

"Awe... You flatter me."

You hug Ray. A good old bear-brother hug. But you felt tears going down his face. You tighten the hug and pet his back. You sat there to encourage him to cry. You can't feel sympathy either way, but it's Ray.

"Come on, Ray."

"Sorry, sorry. Couldn't help it."

He draws back. You pull out your sleeves to show it to Ray. The scars are healing. Not just physically, but mentally. It starts to close. But the last step is to battle Owen, once and for all. So you finally can close it for good. And you show them to justify your trust.

"My loyalty towards you leads me to be clean for two weeks. I can't thank you enough."

"Wow."

"It's called love."

"It's cliche."

"Shut up, you."

"Now, last go back home."
