This is short. Very very short. But I wanted to do Nathan's POV and I was struggling a little. I'll try and make the next chapter extra long to make up for it.
Nathan’s POV
I can’t believe she got with that sonofabitch! I just knew he’d worm his way back into her life. I knew all along that they were together years ago and I wanted to watch him squirm when he came to the house. He let her go and he doesn’t deserve her. He’s such a good fucking actor, pretending to care about her and that little brat of hers.
I’ve been watching them over the last couple of weeks and finding that they were going to the Bahamas was like a stab in the chest. I promised Casey I’d take her there one day and now she’s going with him!
The flowers. Yeah, they were a nice touch, weren’t they? They were to remind her that I was still watching. I’m not going to give up that easy, she needs to be with me and only me. I’m not going to let him ruin things between us.
“Aw, look at that pretty little face of hers” I mumbled to myself, watching them pack their bags. I can’t believe they’re actually flying back home early because of my little present. Well, tough luck, my little darlings, you’re not going to get away from me that easily.
I could hear them talking. Things were getting heated between them.
“For fuck sake, Dylan, why can’t you believe me when I say it’s him?” Casey was throwing clothes into their suitcases.
“I’m not saying it’s not him, Princess, I’m just saying that we don’t have to let this ruin our holiday.”
“Princess” I spat. How dare he!
Dylan was sat on the bed with his head in his hands. How sweet. Their first argument. And in front of an audience as well. How privileged do I feel to be witnessing this. He’s getting himself worked up about me. I feel honoured.
They were going home early. “Where we’re safer” is what Casey told Dylan.
Oh, Baby, there’s no such thing as safe with me.
