I'm not a fan of this chapter, something just doesn't sit right with me. I'll edit it at some point, but this'll have to do for now.

Hope it's not as crap as it seems to be.

We’d been in the Bahamas for 5 days and it had been lovely. We’d spent our days either on the beach or checking out the entertainment in Nassau.

As I awoke, the sunlight was pouring through the curtains. Having had only a few hours’ sleep, I rubbed my eyes and struggled to open them. I turned around and looked at Casey’s sleeping form, she looked so peaceful sleeping. The lines of care and toil had smoothed and virtually disappeared, the frown lines around her eyes now but a memory. Eyelids closed against the dim light of dawn and her breathing deep and relaxed, all the muscles in her face and body were totally at peace, like a baby in its' first throes of slumber. Not a twitch, not a spasm, barely any movement of her breasts rising and falling with each intake of air such was the depth of her oblivion. This was a body totally at peace, at rest, at one with itself, rejuvenating the mind and muscles before the onset of yet another day.

Running my fingers along her naked back, she flinched at the touch and a look of disgust ran over her face, before it relaxed again and she continued her peaceful slumber, so I ran my fingers along her back again.

“Mm, stop it” she mumbled, flinching away again and rolling over onto her back revealing her breasts. At that moment, I couldn’t stop myself staring at the dome like objects that were now practically thrust my way. I gasped at the sight of her and my heart nearly jumped out my chest as I tried to stop myself staring. Ah, stuff it! I can’t not do it. Deciding to tease her, and not able to control my hands anymore, plus, the fact of knowing that she was already half awake, I ran my finger around her left nipple, taunting her. Her back arched as the pleasure took hold and she moaned. Her lips curled into a smile, and I pulled my hand away before she fully awoke. I stifled a giggle, but it was cut short when she rolled over to me and pulled me close.

“Someone’s excited” she mumbled and opened her eyes, giggling. I was confused for a second, before I felt stirring down below.

“It’s your fault, Princess” I told her as she smiled against my chest. “You’re so damn beautiful.” She was just so beautiful. I watched her lying there in my arms; her hair was a rich shade of mahagony, flowing in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were a bright, emerald-green and seemed to brighten the world. Her straight nose, full lips, begging to be kissed. She was a picture of perfection right there.

With that, Casey jumped up, grabbed a towel and declared that she was going for a shower, so I decided to ring for some room service. After ordering some French toast, orange juice and some cereals, I lay back down on the bed, and must have fallen asleep briefly because the next thing I knew, I was being pounced on.

“Ow, you’re heavy, get off” I grunted and earned myself a slap on the chest for the rude comment. Opening my eyes to apologise I saw a bikini clad Casey straddling me with her arms folded across her chest. She pouted her lips slightly and lifted her shoulders and slumped them, sort of childlike. Chuckling at her, I pulled her down on top of me and kissed her.

She pulled away and grimaced. “You smell” she stood up and pointed towards the bathroom. “Shower. Now. “

Getting off the bed, I stuck my tongue out at her. “Yes, mum” and ran out the room before she had the chance to throw something at me.

After 10 minutes in the shower, I heard a knock on the door and realised that room service must be here, so I turned the shower off and made my way back into the bedroom to get dressed. Half way through pulling my trousers on, I heard Casey screaming from the lounge area and shouting me through to her.

“God, Case, you’re going to burst my ear drums, what the hell’s the matter?” I asked, stumbling through to where Casey was sat. In front of her was the room service order I’d ordered earlier, along with a huge bunch of flowers and a note. Confused, I sat down next to her and picked up the note. It was  a typed note and read simply:

For My Babe xx

I threw the note back on the table and turned to look at Casey. She was staring at nothing in particular and I could see tears welling up in her eyes.

“Who are the flowers from, Casey?” I asked, bewildered.

“I-I-How-“She stuttered. She didn’t continue. She just stared at the flowers for what seemed like hours but was probably only minutes, before grabbing them and ripping them into pieces and throwing them over the room. By now, she was sobbing hysterically and screaming something about finding her here.

“Why here? Why now? How does he know?” she screamed repeatedly, whilst throwing the flowers all over the room.

“Casey, come on, stop” I placed my hand on her shoulder and turned her around, pulling her close to my chest. “Calm down and tell me what the hell’s going on.”

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and there was a security guard along with a porter stood on the other side.

“Is everything ok, sir?” the security guard asked, peeking inside seeing the mess on the floor.

“Yes, we’re fine thanks, and proceeded to close the door. “Actually, no, we’re not” I started, before walking back into the room, grabbing the note on the table. “Are you okay?” I asked Casey, receiving a nod and made my way back to the door. “We just got delivered these flowers” I said, pointing to the floor. “As you can see, my girlfriend is a little stressed that she’s receiving flowers like these from someone other than me. We haven’t a clue who they’re from, do you know who ordered these?” I directed my question to the porter, who looked as confused as me.

“Sir, I make all deliveries to this floor, and I did not deliver flowers.” I turned to look at Casey. She’d put on a shawl, covering herself up from the strangers. I gave her a questioning look and she nodded.

“He delivered the food, and then a few minutes later the flowers arrived. But there was no-one at the door, Dyl. They were on the floor.” She crossed her arms back across her chest, looking upset and creeped out.

I turned back to the men at the door and thanked them for their time and closed the door. Walking back to Casey, I held my arms out and she ran into my arms.

“Shh,” I soothed. “We don’t know that they were for you, Case”

She pulled the card out of my hand and turned it round, where the word “Casey” was written.

“It’s Nathan” she shivered in my arms and collapsed to the floor crying.
