A/N - Here's part 21, hope you enjoy. hopefully this will answer some of the unanswered questions. if not chapter 22 definitley will.
{..................Tris's POV..................}
My stomach was tying itself tightly in knots as I made my way nervously down the bare corridors of the dauntless compound. I could barely contain my angst as my palms began to sweat excessively and my breathing became a lot heavier (and much louder). No seriously, right now with the deafening sound that my nose and lungs were annoyingly creating, I could actually use to give Darth Vader a run for his money. Also, my anxious behaviour was not being helped at all by the unnerving thoughts that were slowly and sneakily taking control of my conscious mind.
What if I don't like what's in the folder?
What if Christina's right?
What if he has some sort of weird obsession or ulterior motive towards me?
NO. Tris...Stop! This is four you're talking about here. The same guy that trains you day in day out and has never once tried anything 'unprofessional' with you. The same guy that pulled you off the net and welcomed you to dauntless after that terrifying jump. The same guy that climbed up a friggin Ferris wheel with you when he's scared of heights himself, to which he then had to basically fly down on his own so that he could save your sorry ass. He's also the very same guy that gave up his water for you when Uriah decided to change yours for that which comes out of a toilet bowl. There has got to be a reasonable explanation for this 'strange' folder, one that you shall find out in less than five minutes when you have calmed yourself the hell down.
I was on the last stretch of the corridor now, the door coming into view and moving towards me a lot faster than I would have liked. I have no idea why I'm this nervous to talk to him, it's not like I don't have a right to know what's in the folder; after all, it does have the name 'Tris' written on it which last time I checked - just so happened to be my name.
As the inevitable dawned closer with every shaky step I took... so did he; the man that had been clouding my thoughts for the past few weeks, since the first time I had found out about that damned folder.
Speaking of Four, I could see him now through the window placed randomly in the wall. I think it was put there so should anyone in authority walk past such as Eric or Max, then they can see just what's going on in the fear landscape room. To be honest, there's not much point in it being there anyway since four always closes the blinds whenever anyone is in there with him. He was at this moment bent down, facing away from me, rooting through what looked like some sort of cupboard filled with viles of all different coloured liquids.
They must be the fear serums', I wonder why there are so many different colours; I mean there is only one kind of fear serum right?
From this angle I noticed that Christina was indeed right about one thing - he did have a pretty nice 'perky' ass. Oh for god's sake you're about to go and have a serious conversation with him and all you can think about is his ass...way to go Tris. Shaking off the inappropriate thoughts, I approached the door carefully and with a hesitant fist, I knocked on the hard wood. He glanced round and when he saw who it was, he rolled his eyes and sighed as though I was a younger sister pestering him to come play house before then turning round and continuing to do whatever he was doing. The moody bastard just totally blanked me. What the hell did I do?
Oh I don't know Tris...you may have possibly called him names such as 'fucking Bastard' and 'Nob Head' then not forgetting the famous 'Bell End' earlier on in the canteen.
Oh shit yeah. Why are annoying voices always right? In fairness, I may have called him all those things but then again it's not like I had no reason too. He had just given us one of the worst punishments and then continued to make it longer; all over something that happened weeks ago.
