{..................Tris's POV..................}
Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I glanced round warily before I did something I thought I'd never ever do...
I barged into the male toilets.
God I do hope there's no one else in here with him!
Flinging open the wooden door, I was surprisingly shocked at the sight before me. The bathroom was completely empty apart from a tall, handsome figure stood solitary in the middle of the room; staring absentmindedly at his reflection in the mirror. Both of his hands gripping hold of the sink in front of him as though it was a lifeline, his knuckles turning white due to the strength of his clutch. The way he was stood looked as though he was about to break out into a 100 press-ups against the poor bathroom appliance. If it wasn't for the strained face, I wouldn't be surprised if he did, him being a macho-man and all.
He must either be deep in thought or just blatantly deaf, as he doesn't seem to have noticed me. I didn't receive a glance nor a flinch, not even when the door had crashed against the wall beside me.
Looking around the room I noticed that it was quite sparse, not furnished at all; very different from the female lavatories. There were three cubicles along the left wall, the doors being a coal black therefore contrasting nicely against the backdrop of the gleaming white wall tiles. Opposite these were the sinks, all placed below a large rectangular mirror running the length of the wall above them. Directly opposite me were some of those fancy hand dryer things, you know the ones where you put your hands inside them and they dry in like five seconds; also kindly giving your hand flab a good fly about as well.
Clearing my throat, I tried to get his attention...
"Uhh hmmm"
Upon hearing this, his head snapped up in surprise; us then making direct eye contact through the mirrors reflection.
"You need to get out, these are the male toilets" he snapped at me, not even bothering to turn around, he just stared at me through the mirror.
"I know exactly where I am, thank you" I hissed back. "I am capable of looking at a sign on a door you know. I'm actually here for a reason?"
"Let me guess, you need to tinkle badly and can't make it to the ladies?" he replied, sarcasm lacing his voice.
"No, I actually needed to talk to you"
"And it has to be right now?" he asked, pointing downwards at the air in front of him.
"Yes. It does"
"Then make it quick, you're not the only one who needs to tinkle" he said, smirking slightly at my now angered face.
"What? You were gonna 'tinkle' in the sink". He just gave me a sharp, unamused look that most probably meant a monotone 'ha.ha'. "What the hell was all that in there?" I demanded.
"What was what?" he replied, faking innocence as he turned round to face me - Looks like he finally found his manners then!
"You know exactly what I meant dick head, all that with Keith, when you just decided to get involved in something that had 'nothing' to do with you." I put back.
"It had everything to do with me"
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, really" he said coldly.
