A/N - Here's chapter 23, enjoy. - God I thought I'd never get here. This whole story was actually meant to be a one shot.
Change of plans....this will be 26 chapters long now (not 22) and there will be a sequel coming out soon after the end.
(although i'm gonna take a break between)
Anyway...on with the show...
Also this is my fic so if the characters just so happen to make references to genocidal maniacs or popular celebrities/songs that belong in our everyday society...they can do.
- cba with anymore editing so if there are any mistakes - just point em out...
{..................Tris's POV..................}
"This is all your fault" Christina hissed as we pushed open the dimmed glass double doors to one of the many over-sized gyms that are situated around the dauntless compound. Her push of the door being quite a lot more forceful than mine. So forceful in fact that I'm surprised as it crashed into the wall, it didn't smash into a million pieces; becoming then a danger to all those sporting bare feet. Hopefully her bad mood would wear off soon; I don't think I could take another 5 minutes, never mind 5 hours more of this.
"I asked you to do one simple thing for me and you failed...you cow"
I rolled my eyes at that, here we go..."Well technically you never asked, it was actually my ide-"
"Yeah, yeah whatever...don't talk to me right now." With that she marched ahead, straight into Will's reluctant embrace; turns out he was still pissed about the whole sausage incident. Jealous bastard, as if I'd waste my time on Christina. For one - I'm not a lesbian, and two - I've got bigger fish to fry (no pun intended).
She was only being like this as unfortunately I hadn't been able to convince four into letting us, or at least some of us, off his stupid punishment. In all honesty, I think I myself would have been more annoyed about it hadn't I still been buzzing with excitement from that kiss we shared earlier. It made my stomach tingle just thinking about it, and I couldn't help but smirk slightly as I ran my fingers gently across my lips for what must be the 100th time in the last hour. This made Christina glance at me strangely, so much for not making it obvious Tris. I just couldn't help it. Although, there has been one thing that had been bugging me since he had walked out on me earlier - how far would it have gone if he hadn't pulled away? Because, I mean it was getting quite steamy in there.
I haven't actually seen him yet since it happened so this next 5 hours is going to be extremely awkward, that's if he even bothers to turn up. Knowing him, he'll probably avoid being here and just check that we turned up in the morning.
At the moment there is only Me, Al, Edward, Christina and Will that had bothered to turn up. I wonder where Uriah got to or if they even found him after his little tantrum? And what about Peter? He was there when Four had given us the punishment, so I assume that it included him too, he was also present at the game which got us into this mess.
Damn you 'Candor or Dauntless'!
The Gym that I'm now stood in is a large circular room, just off the pit. The walls are a dull grey concrete and the floor made up of shiny black tiles that for some reason never seem to stain; only fade occasionally when they are in need of a good polishing. In the centre of the room stands proudly a large white concrete beam reaching from floor to ceiling that consists of many randomly placed shelves holding up bottles of water and other drinks. Around the bottom of this structure are cushioned benches made for resting, these benches mostly acquire and withhold the bottoms of instructors or leaders as us initiates rarely get a break during training times. The white of the beam slightly brightens up the room since all the gym's equipment is also either grey or black. A dull contrast tends to be a pattern throughout most of dauntless, sticking to the traditional colours of the faction.
