Chapter 3 : I Just Wanna Get Away

Luke's POV:

Siting on my bed I started to think to myself. Now I know that's completely normal but there was only one thing. I was thinking about Layah! Yeah okay , I know that she is my mate but she isn't right to be a alpha female. I mean look at her! She's a wreck! Boring, dull, and way too fragile. She's not ugly but she just weak. On top of that nobody likes her; hell including me sometimes! I don't care that the pack slaps her around all the time, she deserves it. Maybe she'll learn from that and defend herself .

My head started to hurt thinking about her so I decided to lay back and close my eyes. Guess I was more tired than I though since I quickly drifted into a peaceful nap.

Layah's POV:

That's it! I'm done!

I'm getting out of here I don't care what other people think I'm sick of getting abused by everyone and beat physically and mentally . I started packing everything I have in to whatever I can find while trying to be as quiet as I can be so no one will suspects thing. I basically packed everything I had in my room into two duffle bags that I conveniently found and throwing on some black skinny jeans and a black shirt to try to blend in. I was finally leaving . But of course I wanted to leave a little reminder. I left I wrote a note and laid it on my makeshift bed and jumped out of my window quietly.

Running into the forest behind the pack house, I ran until I couldn't run anymore. Every since my parents died I started saving up money by now I had at least ten thousand dollars saved up in case I ever did want to run away.

But living Phoenix I dont really know where to go because I rarely go out of the house. I reached a Motel 6 that was around there and settled into a room for the rest of the night to think about what to do next but all I know is that in getting out of Arizona and goin somewhere new instead of here. Since I had been basically running all day it was about ten o clock when I set into the room. I had made up my mind about what I was doing and I was sure of it laying down into a peaceful sleep I decide what to do tomorrow. Tomorrow I was going to get up early so I could get a head start, get a ticket from the airport and get out of here before the pack even recognized I was even gone. They probably already figure something since I didn't make dinner but they probably found something to eat already. Closing my eyes I drifted off into a peaceful sleep for the first time ever.

Tonight, I could finally breathe easy....
