Chap 24: Training Day part 1

I groaned as I twisted and turned in my bed. I didn't want to get up but I knew I had to because I promised Luke I would train the pack today. I just didn't wasn't to get up my king sized bed just felt so comfortable. I sleepily rubbed my eyes and turned over to look at the clock; it read 5:30. I know that there was a job to be done ; but unfortunately that hone had to be done by me.

Stretching and throwing the covers off of me I swung my legs over the bed. I rubbed my eyes again to make sure I was awake and stood up making sure to steady myself before walking. The last thing I need to do was hurt myself trying to see in the dark. Still sleepy I walked over the the bathroom door and turned on the light . I slightly winced and the sudden change in light

"Remind me to brace myself before doing that again" I made a mental note in my head.

Once my feet got adjusted to the cold floor I looked in the mirror; and I looked a complete mess. One reason I looked a mess is because I forgot to wrap my hair last night; i'll take the blame for that. Still staring at myself in the mirror I noticed my greenish yellow eyes still looked a little dull and sleepy, and my bronze colored skin wasn't as radiant as it was yesterday , what can I say it was early and Im still tired. I washed my face , brushed my teeth and jumped , and jumped in the shower.

Although most of the time I spent standing under the hot water thinking I quickly bathed and got out. I quickly dried off and walked and walked back in the room. I walked over to the dresser put some deodorant on and looked for something to wear. Since I need to be comfortable . I put on some underwear the pulled out a black sports bra , black basket ball shorts , and a old pair of Jordan's I had.

I sighed and looked at the clock which now read 6:00. I smirked to myself complementing my self for making good time , put my hair in a ponytail and walked out of my room. I walked as lightly as possible not trying to wake anyone up...yet. I walked down to the third floor where the boys were staying and gave each of their doors a firm but not loud knock. Thinking they needed a few minutes to wake up I started to walk away but was surprised to see their door open at the same time.

"Well, good morning m'lady" Jace spoke

"What's wrong you seemed to be awake? K.C said looking at me."

In all honesty I was . They were all dressed in black boy shorts just like I was but they didn't have a shirt on. And yes I know they might be like my brothers but when I tell you they are fine with a capital F believe me. No matter of fact they're no fine they're fiiiooonnne. They all had perfect six packs any girl would drool over.

"Actually yes I am a little surprised to see you guys up so early."

"Well you did say training was this morning so we made sure we were up." Jaxon replied

"Well since you're up how about we wake everyone else up huh?" Jace said with a devilish grin on his face

"What do you have in mind?" I asked curious

"How about I go over the intercom and wake them up while you, K.C , and Jaxon go on each hall with the air horn and wake them up?" Jace asked

"I'm in how about y'all?"

They all agreed in unison. Jace went back in his room and pulled out 4 walkie-talkies . He gave each of us one .

"Where did you get this from?" I asked curious

"Me and the guys wanted to play like we were police so I needed them" he said amused and looked at me . I lifted an eyebrow and smirked looking at all of them.

"Hey ! Don't judge us we are still kids at heart"

"If you believe that then okay" I said teasing , now lets get in position."

Jace was on the intercom I was on the first floor K.C on the Second, an Jaxon on the third .

We were to run down the hall blow the air horns and then meet back up in the kitchen as soon as we got off of the halls .

Jace spoke to all three of us "When I count to three I'm going to blow the air horn over the intercom and you guys run and blow yours ok?" He asked

"Copy that" we all said in unison.

"Ok 1....."

I braced myself

"2......."

I got ready to run and put my hand on the trigger button.

"3 ..... GO!"

With that we took off down the hall blowing the air horns and Jace blew the horn over the intercom. As we ran and blew the horns the sound of terrified screams could be heard and people falling out of bed. I blew the horn and ran as fast as I could . I ran until I got to the kitchen where the guys were and we cracked up laughing as screaming continued and falling was done .

We all casually sat at the table and waited for everyone to flock down to the kitchen. One minute later what sounded like billions off footsteps and a stampede finally came down the stairs. The whole pack stood there some angry some still scared.

"What the hell is going on down here?" I heard Luke growl and boy he was angry . Although I heard he was angry I couldn't help but notice how good he looked early in the morning. Hair tousled , no shirt in , six pack showing , and alpha power radiating off of him.

Even though I wanted to laugh I showed no visible emotion and just smirked.

"Well today is training day you know so we had to find a way to wake you all up , right?" I asked nonchalantly

"But did you really have to do that?" he said still angry but he calmed down suggesting the fiasco that just happened.

"Yup yep , we did , so now what I need you all to do is go get dressed in something comfortable and get back down here , outside as soon as possible." I spoke with my alpha voice too which made them get moving .

"You're such a dumbass Layah, you always have been" Elana my slutty sister said

"Yea Yea now be a good little bitch and go put some clothes on , or is clothes foreign too you, since you're basically naked all the time huh?" I asked smirking seeing the anger radiate off of her

"Why you little-" she started to speak but getting annoyed I cut her off.

"GO GET DRESSED NOW AND BE BACK DOWN HERE , I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU DON'T LIKE ME , I AM AN ALPHA AND YOU WILL RESPECT ME NOW GO!!" I said using my alpha voice and she ran back up the stairs. It was almost 6:30 and she was in lingerie. Like really dude , that's what you wear ? I shook my head and sat back in the chair so training could begin......
