Chapter 6 : Goodbye Pheniox Hello Cali....

Luke's POV:

It's been a day since Layah left. I know that isn't long but to me it feel like and eternity. I look a mess , I haven't been able to focus , eat , or sleep . For a person that really doesn't care about her I feel like its my fault. Oh what the hell am I talking about , It IS My FAULT! I noticed a change in the packs behavior to them seem to be upset to everybody looks sad , everybody but Elana. She could care less that her sister I gone .

That girl has some serious problems if she's not in any way upset. She just so da*n happy all the time it makes me sick. If I hope that she will come back , maybe she will. What's the use she never coming back

Layahs POV :

Unloading my bass off of the plane I started to smile once again I even started to laugh a little bit. I know that may sound crazy but I laughed because I was finally free . I was free of tourture, and abuse, verbally and physically. I landed in Cali at about nine o clock so I had to find a hotel and quick. I walked down the street from the airport and found a hotel to stay in for the night . It was called the Treetop Hotel ( made up) . When I walked in I looked around in awe , it was beautiful . When I was looking around I caught the smell of something. It smelled like pine cones and honey , then I realized it was another werewolf . It was actuall more than one.

When he looked back at me he started to smile at me. An since I thought he was cute he smiled back. He was about 6'1 black hair and icy blue eyes . His other two friends weren't bad looking either . One had blond hair and grayish green eyes and the other one had light brown eyes and black hair. I tried not to stare but they were cute.

When I finally focused I walked up to the front desk and asked for a room , and she told me the price was 90 dollars every two nights which was cool with me.

As I was walking to the elavator the cutie from earlier stopped

Me . He asked me my name and I told him it was Layah he old me his name was Zach and his friends names were Jace and Kacey. He also told me he saw me staring. I will admit I blushed a little he also told me that he knew I was different . I knew what he ment but I didn't want to tell him. He looked around and made sure nobody was looking or listening he leaned in and said " I know your a werewolf I smelled you when you walked in" then I said " Well I'm am but I haven't changed yet" he looked a little perplexed then asked why.

I had no explanation of why . We all talked for another two or so hours and they all took a liking to me . For some reason I felt safe around them I know we just met but they felt like my family for some reason . It was getting late so I felt it was time for me to go to bed Zach and the boys offered to take me to breakfast in the morning and I decided that would be a good idea to get to know atleast some people here since I didn't know anybody .

I told them I would see them in the morning and went up to my room to settle down, and go to sleep. And just like the rest of the hotel the room was beautiful a big king sized bed with big pillows and. And a cute little puppy made out of a towel laid on my bed. While putting my bag to the side I decided to take a shower before I went to be. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower which was huge . It had bright egg shell colored tiles on the walls and a clear glass sliding door on the outside of the shower.

After taking a thirty minute shower I was ready to go to bed, and in the morning have breakfast with my new friends . Drifting off to sleep in my big comfy bed I knew everything was going to be great from here on out.
