Chapter 37

Layah's POV:

Training is all we have done around here . Now we have two more weeks until the battle. I know I I have fought and killed before but I have never been this nervous. I was actually scared! All we did was train. If I was gonna protect this pack they had to protect themselves also.

I was siting in the kitchen when the guys walked in and sat on either side of me. It was silent and nobody dared to break the silence.

"I'm scared " I admitted breaking the silence.

"Honestly I am too" K.C said looking at me upset.

The guys all agreed .

"I've never been this scared . I mean of course I've fought and I'm not afar aid to kill . But I don't understand the problem now"I admitted

"Maybe it's just harder because its more personal" Jace said nudging me.

" I don't know , I'm just scared of losing you again. We all are" Jaxon said . They all agreed.

"I'm scared of losing you guys too" I said and laid my head on Jace's shoulder.

"We're here for you Layah we always will be" he said comforting me.

I was honestly terrified of during again. And let me tell you it isn't fun dying either. I didn't want to do anything that day. All I wanted to do is think.

What will life be like after the battle?

After the battle what will happen to me and my guys?

What will me and Luke's relationship be like?

I didn't feel like doing anything . I asked Jace, Jaxon , and K.C to take over my training sessions and they quickly agreed and told me to stop stressing before I make myself sick. They knew what I was going through. This was much more about the pack . This was personal.

I sat around all day in my room in my pajamas being lazy. I know your probably thinking out of all time you choose to be lazy now? Well my answer , Yes. If you felt the crazy emotions running you wild you would be like this too.

I didn't want to be bothered . Luke and the guys eventually came and checked on me every now and again. I didn't know why I was feeling this way.

The day went by fast and soon it was time for bed once again. But I didn't want to sleep , every might I went to sleep the closer the battle would get..
