The Monster
Jessica woke up, and there Steve was lying next to her, causing an instant smile to appear onto her face.
"Jessica mom made breakfast come on!" Daniel yelled knocking on Jessica's door
"Umm yeah, okay I'll be there in a few I'm getting dressed!" Jessica yelled back, waking Steve up
"Hey." Jessica smiled getting up
"Wait I...I fell asleep?" Steve asked
"Yeah." Jessica laughed
"I don't have clean clothes for the movies." Steve said
"Damn you're s really idiot right when you wake up. You live right next door; go to your house to get changed, so you can also give me a ride." Jessica laughed
"Don't you have a car." Steve tiredly smiled
"It's in the shop, and I forbid to ride my petty pink bike to the movies. Plus it'd be easier." Jessica laughed
"Fine Evans, see you in fifteen." Steve said
Steve got up from Jessica's bed and climbed out of the window. Jessica was facing her closet as she took her pajama shirt off and replaced it with a clean sweater. But Steve, as he was climbing down to the ground from the window, he stopped. He stopped and admired Jessica, her long blonde curly hair; her bare back with a secret tattoo on her right shoulder blade that she had gotten without permission last year. He admired her until she walked downstairs and was out of sight.
"Does it really take ten minutes to put clothes on?" Daniel said
"I...couldn't find a clean bra...?" Jessica lied
"Ew." Daniel said
"What you asked me idiot."
"Jessica!" Fred scolded
"Sorry." Jessica rolled her eyes
"So what are you guys going to do today?" Tracey asked
"I'm going to the movies with Steve." Jessica smiled
"I thought you were watching one here." Tracey said
"We were but their still playing The Dead Zone from Halloween so we decided we should watch that instead." Jessica said
"That's rated R." Fred said
"So, I always go to rated R movies." Jessica sighed
"Fred I think we should let her go." Tracey smiled "her and Steve are becoming close again."
"That's what I don't like about it." Fred said
"Dad we're just friends." Jessica sighed "besides he has a girlfriend."
"Tracey?" Fred said
"Fred their friends, that's it." Tracey smiled
"Okay fine you can go." Fred said
"Thank you." Jessica smiled
As Jessica walked back upstairs to grab her purse, her bedroom phone went off.
"Hello?" Jessica asked
"Jess, it's Nancy, Jonathan and I figured out, the...thing is attractive to blood, so please be careful." Nancy informed her friend
"Hold up, slow down what thing?" Jessica asked
"The thing we saw; we're guessing it's attracted to blood."
