The Flea and the Acrobat
Today was the funeral for Will Byers, or at least that's what it said at the top of the pamphlet.
Jessica stood in her room, in a black medium length dress, with her hair curled, and wearing heels, looking beautiful, but only to be looking in the mirror to sadness.
"Jessica it's time to go honey." Tracey said "are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Jessica said walking out of her room
The house was abnormally quiet that day, in fact so was the family. What if the thing Jessica, and Nancy saw wasn't real, but just a figment of their imagination. And the picture, of Jonathan. What if it was just a shadow of Tommy, or Carol, and they just saw it out of proportion. All of these thoughts ran through Jessica's mind as they were driving to the funeral.

Next thing Jessica knew, her mother, father, brother and here were tossing a rose onto Will's grave. The family all walked over to Joyce, Jonathan and...Lonnie.
Maddie ignored Lonnie. Last time she saw him he was drunk and arguing with Joyce, in a not so friendly matter. Jonathan, Will and her were in Jonathan room with the music cranked up trying to block out the arguing. Jessica would never forget how upset she was, Joyce is like a second mother to her and Lonnie arguing with her made Jessica sick to her stomach.
"Where's Nancy?" Jonathan asked
Jessica looked over to find Nancy, and waved her over to them. As everyone was leaving Jonathan, Nancy and her all sat down next to an open area.
"This is where we know for sure it's been right?" Jonathan asked pointing to a location on the map
"So that's?" Nancy asked
"Steve's house." Jessica said
"And that's the woods where they found Will's bike...and that's my house." Jonathan said
"It's all so close." Nancy said
"Yeah." Jessica said
"Exactly." Jonathan sighed "I mean it's all within atleast a mile, Whatever this thing is it's not traveling far.
"You want to go out there." Nancy said
"We might not find anything." Jonathan said
"We found something." Jessica said
"And if we...do see it." Nancy said "then what?"
"We kill it." Jonathan said without hesitation
Jonathan, Nancy and Jessica walked to Jonathan car as he picked the lock of the glove department. He grabbed a gun and bullets.
"Jonathan this is crazy!" Jessica said
"Jess it took Barb, and Will!" Jonathan said "it deserves to die."
"Do you really think we'll find it, and kill it?" Jessica asked
"Yes I do." Jonathan said
"Wait Jess, this is a stretch but could you....be out lookout?" Nancy asked
"What do you mean?" Jessica asked
"I mean, since it's spotted mostly by your house, you know be our lookout tell us if you see anything." Nancy said
"Are you sure? I mean you could use all the help you can get." Jessica said
"Jess, we're fine please this would help us a lot." Nancy said
