Part 3
"Hello?" Jonathan asked picking up the phone
"Jonathan? It's Hopper." Hopper said
"Is everything alright?" Jonathan asked worried
"Your mother and I...we have Will." Hopper said "we're headed to the hospital right now."
"What.." Jonathan said
"Just hurry kid." Hopper said
"Okay, we'll be there in 15." Jonathan quickly
"Wait what do you mean We'll?" Hopper asked
But Jonathan hung up before he could even listen to Hoppers question
Jonathan practically sprinted through the door, running to his car. Ignoring everyone.
"Jonathan wait where are you going?" Nancy asked
"Will! They found Will!" He yelled walking outside
"Nancy take my car." Jessica said tossing her keys to Nancy "he shouldn't be driving right now."
"Jess he's not drunk." Nancy said
"He's a mess right now just drive him I'll ride with Steve." Jessica said getting into Steve's car
Jessica and Steve sat half of the car ride in silence as they drove to the hospital.
"Why?" Steve said breaking the silence
"Why what?" Jessica asked
"Well, for starters you almost shooting me." Steve slightly laughed
"It was all I could think of doing at the moment." Jessica shrugged
"Wow thanks." Steve said "what about Nancy and Jonathan?"
"They're just friends Steve." Jessica said "I've told you a million times why do I have to keep on reminding you."
"Okay, now what...what's that thing?" Steve asked
"It...It's a long story." Jessica said looking out the window
"We've got another 10 miles." Steve said "So go ahead."
Jessica told Steve nearly everything, until they got to Hawkins Hospital. As both of the cars parked everyone ran into the waiting room. Jonathan going in to see Will; Jessica, Nancy, and Steve all sat down with their families as they waited to go see Will.
Jonathan came into the waiting room, and the boys and Jessica followed him to Will's room. The four boys instantly ran to Will's bedside telling him about everything and anything in excitement, as Jessica stood next to Jonathan smiling at the boys.
As the two watched the boys Jessica leaned her head on Jonathan's shoulder.
"It's all over now." She slightly laughed
"Yeah, it's all over now." Jonathan quietly repeated
Suddenly Jonathan and Jessica's hands touched, their fingers intertwining for a few moments, but then they replaced their hand back to their sides.
As the two were distracted by the ecstatic boys, Nancy Wheeler, was watching them. And a smile appeared on her face until she saw Jonathan and Jessica together.
The boys started to quiet down as Jessica walked over to Will's bed.
"Hey Silly Willy." Jessica smiled hugging the boy
"Hey Jess the Mess." He replied
"I've missed babysitting you." Jessica smiled "and you know you still need to teach me D&D, Saying Daniel won't."
"Next time you come over I will." Will smiled
"Good." Jessica laughed
After awhile each family started leaving, to let the Byers have time with Will alone.
"Call me if you need anything okay?" Jessica said to Jonathan
"Okay." Jonathan smiled "thank you Jess."
"No problem." Jessica said hugging her friend "now, next time I come over to learn D&D I'm going to beat your ass Byers."
"Don't count on it." Jonathan smiled
